Dora Akunyili RIP, your only offense was trying to sanitize the country of the enemies who disguise as hustlers, traders, friends selling poisons to unsuspecting Nigerians in the name of medicine. You fought as hard as you could but they got you, poisoned you and made your family run for their dear lives. I salute the gallant efforts of Mrs Mojisola, she is indeed a warrior, not backing down from the fight that her predecessor started. The only saving grace for Mrs Mojisola is the fact that she is from a different region, as such it becomes extremely difficult for the drug barons to take her down or intimidate her family. Thank you Madam that you never listened to one of their chief sponsors and sympathizers, who had called for some section of the drug headquarters to be opened. Kudos to Governor Soludo for shutting him up and proven that national interests supercedes Peter Obi's shallow tribalism. Kudos to Gen Marwa for dealing a deadly blow to them at the other end. They want to destroy our health because of greed but they will all lose. It is not a must to sell drugs, they can close their stores and go back to selling gala in traffic and allow reasonable people take over our drug markets. |

This is the first time NAFDAC has been this effective and active since Akunyili. Maybe mothers are better adept at tackling these vices than fathers. Drug distribution and sales should be strictly within Pharmacies and handled by licensed pharmacists. Whenever I see these patent medicine stores I just feel ashamed...! We shouldn't be joking with our lives and health. |

NAFDAC should not just stop at destroying fake drugs.. they should push for laws that will make capital punishment like death penalty the punishment for fake drug manufacturers, sellers and dealers. We need to kill them before they'll succeed in killing us all. Either jungle justice or death by hanging will solve the problem. |

Merchants of death! Billionaires with different dirty sources of income. Selling fake and expired drugs, killing people more than IPOB. Making money by killing Nigerians with fake and expired drugs! The whole state should be shut and sealed. Until those criminals and bloody death sellers are behind bars. This is painful. So many people have died because of fake and expired drugs from Onitsha alone. |
