What you should think about is why the North rejected PBAT.

Back then, we southerners were all complaining about how past southern presidents spent their time pleasing the North, giving them the best amenities while neglecting the South. We asked why it was only the North that had the Navy, Army, Police, Air Force, and other key institutions.

Now, we finally have a southern president who doesn’t care about lobbying the North or seeking their approval—he is focused on the South instead. Yet, some people are still unhappy, saying he won’t get enough votes because he isn’t prioritizing the North.

We all know things are very bad right now, but there are still some aspects where he has actually done well, which are things we expected. I’m not saying you shouldn’t criticize him, but don’t use the things he has done well as a reason to criticize him.

Think about it—if you do something good for someone, and instead of appreciating it, they criticize you using that same good deed, will you ever want to do such a thing for them again? We all know the answer to that.

So, why the double standard? If we once criticized past leaders for ignoring the South, why should we now complain when a southern president prioritizes the South?

Just recently gov of Akwa ibom bought 2024 prado for commissioners. One goes 4 $75k roughly 111m. Multipled by 27 of dem. No one has brought it up. Even ministers in tinubu govt didn't get new cars.
