🤔 Seplat’s gas push looks great, but is it really about Nigeria’s energy future or just a corporate power grab? |

The Private Sector will take over the people's common wealth .... Oil, gas, solid minerals and the land .... while the people will be the labourers....until Jesus returns.. |

Akwa Ibom is an Energy Center and all Energy companies, both offshore and onshore should move their offices to Akwa Ibom and pay their taxes there and their corporate social responsibilities need to be evident in the lives of the people. |

Honoredeblazac:Very true but the Nigeria politics is eating the company..... I worked with a Dutch contractor then on certain projects..... Once they travelled to Brazil to monitor another project.... The senior management mvtherfvkers used politics run me street..... My saving grace was that the head advised me prior to find exist strategy..... because he was always been pressured to take certain individuals proposed to him by internal senior management.... |

Shidinky:Umo Eno is not cerebral enough to be Governor. There is no known Goal and the roadmap to achieving the goal. Just shouting ARISE Agenda, meanwhile, no one really knows what the Agenda is. I had expected a jetty and a Tank Farm at Uruan Waterfront and expansion of the Uruan/Nwangiba to bring in the Petroleum Products to Uyo cos they basically have no tank farm. With soil rich in clay, I also expected a State owned Cement Factory to bring down construction cost of cement which can in turn be used for road construction and housing needs. I had also expected massive foray into world class tourism and fine dining. I also had expected to Sea Port to be nearing completion. But you hired a cook to be a Governor and all he does is talk talk and talk. Not even sanitation is his priority. Once in a while we have square pegs in round holes. I pray he loses to APC, cos I do not know what magic he will do at this time, having lost the confidence of the people. |

The way una dey sitdon for this faceless forum dey talk trash dey baffles me. If you want to know what ARISE Agenda is all about Google it and go through it. The Governor is not a social media governor. He's delivering on his campaign promises. So your dream of APC taking over Akwa Ibom is a dead dream. If you don't what's happening in a place, just keep quite ok. TheBillyonaire: |

NewDigitalWorld:Those are indeed huge targets. These oil and assets originally belonged to ExxonMobil before exiting the onshore facilities to concentrate more on the lucrative offshore exploration. |

The federal government has a target of producing over 2 million barrels per day of crude oil in 2025, but its output for January was 1.5 Mbps. It is short of 500,000 bpd, but the government has vowed to meet this target this year, as the 2025 budget is benchmarked on an output of 2.06 Mbps.Nigeria don't produce 2million barrels per day but yet our budget is benchmarked to 2.06 Mbps. Una well done o! |
