It's now very clear how Abacha, IBB and other Military dictators from the North were able to hold gbos to do their biddings.. what should have been a sober reflection and call for national reconciliation suddenly turned to a thing of joy and celebration for the Igbo folks.

Moreover, IBB didn't say the Januray 15, 1966 coup wasn't an Igbo coup.. his statement that the coup took on an ethnic colouration infact gave credence to the fact that it was an Igbo coup as widely perceived by many Nigerians at the time.

I don’t attend your church but from my experience interacting with Yorubas, I can understand why the Christian brother will feel that way. Yorubas are the most tribalistic Nigerians.

I actually read IBB's book and he didn't say for sure the coup was to install Awo, but he only reiterated what Ojukwu said. Ojukwu was the one trying to be funny. Lol. And when FFK wrote it out clearly that English is the problem with Igbos here, I laughed harder.

While I don't hate Igbos or have special likeness for Yorubas, I just want to say that Yorubas will keep flogging Igbo if this is the strategy of Igbos. Lol. The truth is very bitter.

And to even think that anyone will really take Babangida serious is so funny. I would take it serous if Gowon wrote it. Maybe would be 80% shocked if OBJ wrote it. But IBB, I just bursted into laughter. Guy man that is trying to make history favor him because old age has shown him that a good name is better than silver and gold.
