Please I have been trying to renew my passport online since last week but unable to upload my photo. I keep getting error message " your image processing request cannot be processed at this time. Please try again later"

Please advise on on to do to get it resolved.

Its the same website for all passports.
Ypu just select the passprt offic you want.

Can one change venue for capturing? as I happen to be far from my initial venue.

Birth attestion certificate is only available for Nigerian adults aged 18 and above.

No, you will not run into problem if you follow DIY ( do-it-yourself) route. NIS encourages you to apply by yourself and submit all required documents.

They are almost same thing,but DIY applicants in Owerri has chances than Abia State,where you will pay 20k before it will be vetted.

The best centre in the East remains Abakiliki,Awka is doing anyhow now,even though that's the centre My Boss used.

The complete passport application form and approved form are they different?
Cos I downloaded one when I was done applying and another when I got an email stated that they’ve approved it but I printed just the approved one, do I need to print the first one that wasn’t approved too?

The acknowledgment slip is for Nigerian passport applicants who select “Bank” for the payment of passport application fee.

Yes, the complete passport application form and approved form are different. Both MUST be printed.

Vivian,wether you missed your appointment date or not,you have the right within a six months time frame to capture.

Walk in there like the Boss,greet them and when asked of any Agent,tell them you registered online and you came for capturing,they will be painted but can't help it,but direct you where you will go to for that,when you get to the front desk,you will see where others are writing their names,do same and wait for your name to be called.

You will submit your documents,and it will be vetted after which you proceed for capturing,when asked to pay for anything,be bold in a polite way,and turn the offer down, letting them know you are on budget with what is obtainable at the official website.

After capturing,make sure to get your Collection slip,keep it safe oooooo..... Because you won't be able to take your passport without it.

The payment receipt covers the application fee you made online. Please it is essential you print it...


Acknowledgment slip is meant to have by passport applicants who choose to pay the application fee at any of the participating banks.
