You get!! Normally I do not support Russia's invasion of Ukraine o due to the innocent lives it has claimed so far. But at the same time it's hard to ignore things that seek to destroy you too. If I have an enemy close to me and he starts making friends with people who are as powerful as myself then I'll be very concerned as well, I think this was the situation Putin found himself and he had to invade Ukraine. But where I feel he's at fault is why he let it dragged for so long. A one-time heavy strike to serve as a warning would have been enough. Let's be honest, Russia with all its mighty and military strength have suffered a significant loss of lives in this war. A war that could have been avoided in the first place. Soldiers have died following the orders of men who sleep at home well secured and protected. At the end of the war politicians will do round table talks and shake 🤝 hands but mothers, sons, fathers, sisters, and brothers are the ones who continually visit the graves of their lost loved ones and lay flowers down.

If he does go through with it, he could quickly fall from hero to villain in the eyes of his loyal supporters.

What would be the ultimate gain after fighting against your own brother for a distant ally, only to lose your country's resources to that same ally without even securing a true guarantee of protection?

Meanwhile, your brother given the opportunity, takes the richest part of your state, and a decade from now, Ukraine could end up under the leadership of a pro-Russian president, undermining everything you falsely claimed to protect.
