Sigh... Another thread for the lame braggarts.

Everyone is always wealthy online.

Oga, several Nigerians earn half of that or close to half of that, and are very comfortable.

There's something called "Living within your means".

What I will say about this is that company owner get skeleton in cupboard

There is one Chinese company I worked many years back and our salary finish same day and if you get strong head it will finish within a week

There are so many companies out there use their workers destiny even if they pay 10m the staff will keep complaining

Tho am not saying that's what is happening but look it from that angle

Resign and look for a job that's paying you at least 7.8m a month. 500k is far too small. You can't achieve anything with it.

I'm in Scotland and I earn in pounds. So resign quickly. Thank me later.

Not a big money like it used to be, but you should never be broke at the end of the month. You are not doing something right.

Don’t mind the comments trolling you. I earn way above that and in similar situation. I used to have a large amount of savings before this Tinubu regime but I have eroded most of it to survive. I was sad at first and shame cannot let me reveal how much I earn and can’t save until I opened up and found out many of my colleagues are facing similar challenges since Tinubu regime.

I’m consuming way less than I used to back around 2022 and have cut down so many things but still not working. I can’t remember when last I went to Cubana to sit out or bought a nice outfit for myself. Something I used to do before and still have extra to save every month. I go to market to buy food items for the house and 200k items are not even much again.

My major expenses are rent at least 200k monthly, food stuff another 150k-200k, fuel to work daily cost me around 130k/month in Tinubu’s economy (1k/liter), school fees 100k monthly, internet/electricity/netflix another 70k monthly. I avoid impulse buying and no longer snack or eat out yet still not easy to manage.

I wonder how people earning less are surviving and everyone is acting normal.

I fear Nigerians.

I think he's catching cruise or probably just got a raise in his new job but he just couldn't help but show off online.

My nephew is a technical lead at Tek experts and he doesn't earn up to 550k but he's quite okay. He just got a geek but he was earning way below what this guy just posted and still comfortable with a wife and 1 kid.

You pay 200k monthly for rent? That's about 2.4 per year. Why not save up and build your own home.

Na you wey no use am well as long as you are a single guy not carrying any family problems. A single guy can save 300k monthly and still solve problems and live decently with the 200k balance but a family of 7 will need more.

You're a family man so it may not be enough but the OP might be single with no recurrent expenses besides food, cloth and women.

Well, you might be right... But, such threads and posts abound all over social media.

They send the very wrong signals and give young people the wrong or false impression about success in life.

before I jump into conclusion, I have some questions for you, are you married? , do you responsibilities from family?, are you in debt?, are you building a project? If you don't do any of these with your money something is not right, check your excesses, limit useless bills like subscriptions and buying excess groceries, fuel and clothing. Though the amount is neither good nor bad but it is okay to live comfortably as a single guy
