Getting a good in Chile as an international student is possible and I'm in no way against you getting such, but claiming you work in a bank in Chile and saying it's by "divine intervention" without mentioning how you went through the 5 years background check as an international student not yet in Chile for up to 5 years, shows you have been lying and not encouraging others here, as it's a regulatory requirement for banks in Chile and in other developed countries to follow as their staff in IT and other important departments will have access to clients sensitive information.

[The op has done well for himself, but what I find wrong and wicked is that his posts are not the way to encourage others planning to japa as he is not telling others the whole story and for the op to say it was "divine intervention" is very misleading. 

I have been in developed countries now for decades and I have being working in tech in large organisations so I know the op is not telling the whole story here because there is no way he can get a bank job in Chile without a five years background check, this is a mandatory legal requirement for all banks in the developed countries and as an international student in Chile who have not been in Chile for five years, op would have to process this through the Nigerian Embassy in Chile and this can take 4 to 8 weeks or more. Imagine believing everything you read from ChatGPT. There’s no Nigerian embassy in chile and Chile has no embassy in Nigeria. I didn’t need any background check to get my current job both in Chile and Nigeria. I did the interviews. The first was an initial recruiter screen. 2 technical interviews, a psychological interview and a final hr interview before I signed the offer letter. I was on probation for 3 months and in January, my contract was made permanent.

Yes Nigeria does not have an Embassy in Chile but Nigeria's diplomatic representation to Chile is managed through the Nigerian Embassy in Buenos Aires, Argentina. This will even make the process of completing a background check to work in a bank for an international student from Nigeria even more challenging.
