The news is on MSN, yahoo news, Kyiv Independent and several other Ukrainian channels. But since you have made your position clear on what you consider "reputable news channels", I'll wait for them to pick it up before posting the link. Additionally, they were the ones initially imposed by the Barack Obama administration in response to Russia's annexation of Crimea.

I have seen the story from the yahoo website you pasted about the sanctions during the time of Obama...which every president do extend for one year which might be significant or or insignificant....which is a separate issue with this current set of sanctions. the USA and the eu and its allies have placed on russia.

I have taken time to check on the subject from from the website of the USA department of state ....yeah I saw the list of sanctions then...was it significant I will say no...are the current sanctions on russia by the USA and its allies significant...I will say yes ( greatly).

Mr Gbadebo19...why do you and writterNg always at loggerheads over information...mind you guys no one is an island of knowledge....we learn new things everyday...I am a silent viewer here but the way u guys at at each others neck...men...
