Give your first fruit to your parents and not your pastor, if there are no parents, give it to the one who sponsored your education or orphanage. Don't fall for the cheap trap of give your pastor your first fruit except that it is your pastor that sponsored your education. Everyone reap what they sow, Na your parents deserve your first fruit.

Folks in nairaland can be brutal so before you make a public post, always endeavour to recheck it for any spelling or typo errors

With that being said location also matters in terms of receiving a tangible salary. I could bet the full salary is within the range of 40k.

Congratulations brother. this is just the beginning and better things are in the offing. I also remember taking up teaching in PH immediately after my service years, I remember those days with Joy. However, I am not where I started; I have made subtle progress, and things are always looking better.

It takes courage and resilience to start small, some of your former coursemates might smirk at you for taking the meagre offer, but know that you are on the right track. To the Glory of God, I met my wife in the same school I started teaching, she was also fellow teacher in the school, while there she was there for me spiritually in prayers and when I got my break, it was her I chose.

Final advice, keep up the grind, do not relent and rest on your oars. Keep bombing your CV, keep the application process, subscribe to hotnigerian job search and myjob mag job search. I pray and wish you nothing but the best, but remain focused. I can help you with some soft copies of aptitude job tests if you are interested.
