Something sinister is definitely brewing up! Close down schools just because of a fasting period? What a banana republic! HISBAHbaric, the hatchet-job agency responsible for the implementation of full Sharia law, is practically making a mess of the Nigerian Constitution with no one to call it to order. Are the schools in the SW going to be closed down as well? They preach "tolerance" but practice intolerance! Inspite of the "fasting" and "prayer" galore over the years, they remain the most backward region in the country and in all other Muslim countries in the entire world. Palpable and very urgent issues which need immediate attention such as hunger, poverty, diseases, criminality, insecurity, unemployment, etc mean nothing to these "Scribes and Pharisees" of Islam. They started promoting Sharia during OBJ tenure. They didn't try this when Buhari was in power, now they have started again with Tinubu Very unproductive and deceptive people. They don't allow sale of alcohol in their domains but they can collect revenues/allocations accruing from its sales elsewhere which revenues they fritter away by conducting mass weddings and sponsoring hundreds of pilgrims to the Holy Land regularly.
