Good day all,

I received a call from a friend who helped me secured a land around Papa Lanto about 12years ago that the person we bought the land from told him some land grabbers have taken over the land and destroyed the 11coach above ground fence I have on the property (2 plots of land). I was also informed that they would want to reallot a new land to me and others affected.

At this time, the documents I have are: Deed of assignment, Survey, and Receipt for the land.

My questions are:
Is there anything like land grabbers and are they recognized by Ogun State Government?
To what extent can one sue for damages and encroachment?
Has anyone experienced this, if yes, how was it resolved?

Land grabbers exist wella, kindly engage a trust worthy lawyer, and if you're a diaspora person, i will recommend you go there in person and settle the dispute, sometimes the seller might not be a straight forward person.

The Governor must really monitor activities of some people in that axis Papa,Wasinmi,ifo, Itori etc.Land grabbing,abuse of power by the traditional rulers.The area must have developed very well but due to the kind of rulers in those areas..land grabbing must be a criminal act,the moment you sell your land,collect money and issue receipts and sign agreement,the land is no longer your own.Use the money well not for social activities.

You really don't need to reply this post as you've ignored the first which is perfectly understandable....

But I really which you could find a reason to understand the situation I'm presently, to must have stoop this ow to the evel of begging for a token online....

It's feels really embarrassing for me, but gat no much of a choice as the journey to find myself back at my best seems a little bit long, if I'll survive this moment I don't know yet, but definitely I'm making progress....

And just maybe someday I'll look back to this days and find a a reason to be grateful for life💔🙏🏼
