One of the best news since independence. I think the federal government is preparing the ground for tax reform bill, whereby states have to get what they earn. Therefore, if you incur unexplained liabilities, you are on your own. All these tough decisions can only happen under a bold leader like Jagaban. -Kiss the truth! |

What I know is that Nigerian states are very lazy..... It's funny how a state government will refuse to pay workers and will be blaming allocation for not been enough. |

Gradual restructuring. Next is funding of amnesty program with each geopolitical zone resources. If northern masses like let them use groundnut tax to sponsor RUGA or Hajj or shut schools to fast. |

Governors are the worst set of politician. But it's unfortunate that we blame only the FG. Governors are hiding behind this to under perform. |

The North would have preferred an ignoramus, money embezzler as the AGF to be siphoning the money to sponsor Boko Haram than a good person. Tinubu should have put more igbos into his government. Maybe he is afraid of Emefiole. What of Birom, Ikwerre, Gen.....? |

This is timely, as some state governors think that Tinubu will give them more bail out funds to embezzle just like Buhari did thinking he was bailing them out, he didn't know he was giving some state governors money to ball. |

The President Bola Tinubu-led Nigerian government has declared that it will no longer assume responsibility for unpaid liabilities incurred by state governments, urging them to improve revenue collection and financial discipline.Lol, sub national defaults loading. If states struggle to pay worker and pensions I don't see them paying debts. They won't reduce the size of government aka fire anyone. They don't want to increase taxes on you before you start to question the excesses. |
