I'm from the middle belt and I have lived in about 6 northern states. I speak, hear and rap hausa language and I understand fulfulde but can't speak.
All my years in this region, I have never heard of state government shutting down schools for Ramadan fast or hot weather. The least they do is to declare Fridays work free days for local government workers.
