In a wider war, the first country that Russia will nuke is Ukraine and probably target Zelensky first.

Claiming that Ukraine still has sufficient manpower to continue the war, accusations that Putin violated the Minsk agreements, and assertions that Russia disregards prisoner exchange deals—all delivered in such a setting—only serve to undermine Zelensky's credibility. saying these things in front of the U.S., a country with global intelligence and the one providing Ukraine with support, makes no sense. It’s clear he us not being honest, and it hurt his credibility.

The fact is Zelensky doesn’t really want peace because if the war ends, he might lose his position as president. Peace would also mean he’d have to answer for his actions and decisions during the war. Ukraine deserves a leader who can handle these challenges wisely and work toward real peace and stability.

To end this war, President Trump should just announce that NATO article 5 will be paused for a 2years period till when Europeans bring zelensky to the negotiating table.
