1. Ukraine set up the meeting in DC. They gave the impression they had agreed to sign the deal. Ukraine's cabinet said they approved the deal
2. Trump got everyone there to welcome Zelensky and had their lunch being prepared.
3. The little bit we are seeing is like the last 10 minutes...this actually had been going on for 40 minutes before this blow up.
4. Trump, Vance, Rubio and Bessett were thinking they are here to sign the deal and just doing the premeeting reporter event for the press.
5. Zelensky started right away on trying to renegotiate the deal that had been agreed to by his cabinet. Trump kept saying we can talk about that later, Vance kept saying we will talk about that later...and Zelensky kept on and on like he has before...Then Zelensky said something about the US not doing enough...an Trump corrected and said "Yes we have" and "a lot more than some". Zelensky kept it up and demanding to know how the US was going to assure security for Ukraine (which the US has not offered to do) and how much money Ukraine needed. Vance asked him about showing some gratitude to the US for their aid and Zelensky called him a B it ch (barely picked up on mic, but, it's there)...that is when things between trump and Zelensky derailed. Trump took his team out of the room and Zelensky's team was taken to a different room and Trump's tam agreed this was a set-up so Zelensky could plead his case for money and military aid and rebuilding aid and not to sign the deal and that Zelensky needed to leave.
Zelensky's team asked to meet anyway and were told NO.
Then Zelensky called and was told NO.
Next thing, Zelensky is in UK with Starmer and was caught in the UK badmouthing Trump and the US again.
I do not want the US involved with Zelensky or Ukraine at all. All the missing money, the disrespecting the US, The Oval Office, Trump and Vance and the people of the US was too much. He needs to suck up to the UK, EU, Canada....and leave the US out of it.

If we are being honest with ourselves, as it stands today, only two countries in the world can stand toe to toe with Russia in war, and that is the USA and China.

Do a little Google search of Russia's military capabilities. If they wanted to wipe out Ukraine, they have the missiles to do that. They are not using those.
As much as precious human lives are being lost, this war is like child's play to Russia. These leaders do not value human lives, they'll trade lives for land, resources, power, and ego.

You are right in a way and wrong in another way. you wont expect Putin to use ll his military might on Ukraine, if he do that that will leave him exposed to other greater world power, and they may strike when Russia has become weaker due to expending all his strength and might on Ukraine. but as it seems Russia cannot defeat Ukraine that is why they are using political means to get Ukraine into submission.
