Hello Nairalanders, By 10am yesterday, at the backyard of my house, I saw three snails, due to the fact it as been long that I ate snail, I had a urge to eat the snails. Before, I did that, I had to preserve the snails because I was going to work that very moment. Hence I searched for a plastic bowl, I inserted plantain leaves into it and wet soil, then I placed the three snails inside the bowl, then I used a nylon to cover the bowl while I poke holes into the nylon in order for air to enter it. As I did all this, I found it strange because I could sense that me finding three snails is a mythical sign I cannot describe or understand. Fast forward to today, Sunday, I went to where I put the snails, I couldn't find the snails inside the bowl any longer, the nylon was not tampered with nor could I find them anywhere. So, I don't understand and my question is:- Is finding three snails a mythical sign in Yorubaland or any other tribe or religion? If it is what does it mean? Or am I just been paranoid unnecessarily? |

Why won't they disappear when you didn't make necessary incantations after putting the snails in? |
