yarimo:I know you must be here! Show us where Otti said that the worth of each of the vehicle is #1 billion. I have noticed something in Nigeria and that is, whenever those hungry Igbo haters hates any Igbo leader so much just know that, that particular leader means well for his people. That is exactly what yarimo is doing here now. |

MasterJayJay:I doubt. I have seen inoosnon cars... It's not like they are not beautiful. It's just that I believe they can be far better that that. Can u honestly compare the finest S class or Hyundai to Inosson? Take note that am not condemning, am just saying they can be better. I feel they just don't want to make them them better. They should strive to be innovative. Include things that no other cars in the world don't have. |

All these cars to lawmakers are unnecessary. These guys can get themselves cars, and may even have budgets allocated for that |

MasterJayJay:Has Nigeria produced the machines manufacturing cars or they actually imported the machines? Because I know Nigeria hasn't even produced the machine used for making toothpick. |

Great news. Those trucks have a solid looks. Governor Otti has an uncommon character of a progressive governor. He's turning Abia State into an eldorado. He seems to really have a blueprints of what he wants Abia State to become before he became the governor. He's not an accidental president without purpose....Great Otti, Great Abia State.. |

There is big sense in that ...with the payment they get in terms of Wages and other things including the constituencies funds....I think they too will be collecting constituencies funds like their colleague at the National Assembly....but this is Nigeria, people hardly get to the position of authority to make sacrifice. People voted you in and after then, they must worship you till the end of your tenure...... so sad..... atbfedera[quote author=Cmanforall post=134359284]All these cars to lawmakers are unnecessary. JagabanBorgu:You are so empty not to know those specifications can be remade. So until they are imported, no other brain out of 200million people can make it? If they place an embargo on Nigeria today like Iran and Russia, what becomes of your so called specification? |
| Re: Governor Otti Donates 24 Locally Made Vehicles To Abia Lawmakers by gofigurena: 8:30am On Mar 02, 2025 |
Americans don't import their "specifications" and "tailor-made." I'm sure we can do the same. Unless you're saying local companies in Nigeria can't build VIP-speced models? Is that what you're saying? Supporting homegrown manufacturing is why GM now has an arm called GM Defense. They just recently supplied Qatari government with the American made Suburban Shield armored SUV. JagabanBorgu: |

While it's patriotic to use the product made in one's country. You can't buy a regular car and upgrade it to the type used by a president. The beast you mentioned is an armoured car. It has a compartment for guns. It is sealed so that gas can't penetrate itz from outside. It has a unit where the blood type of the president is stored in the event of unforseen circumstances. Bobloco:That guy is nuts, but on this one he's not far from the truth. Beyond the propaganda, I'm not sure anybody not from Abia have seen the level of kleptocracy going on in Abia. This govt claimed 52B for reconstruction of public schools last year and they couldn't show one school that was reconstructed. Not even one and 52B is gone. 6.5B for recreational facilities and nobody knows the location till date. 2.4B for construction of ICT infrastructure and we don't know where it is. The govt outspent Borno, Enugu and Anambra in security votes. Mind you, Abia is not riddled with criminals like this other states. It's just once in a while that you see major crime news. They claimed another 4B for agric seedlings and yet, no single farmer was given any seeding or fertilizer. This is a govt that openly said they don't have plans for youth empowerment. This is same govt that builds the most expensive roads in the country even though the state is not swampy. This is a govt that have not completed any single project from start to finish apart from mini bus stops for Keke. All the roads you see them commission are already existing roads that was reasphalted. He has not done anyone from scratch and finish it. It's not like the roads they're reasphalting are so terrible or have any major economic importance. If you're in doubt, simply visit Abia State website, download their financial report for last year. Check for these humongous expenses, search online and see if you'll where they're mentioned in the news. No way govt can do a major project that costs billions and it won't make it in the news. |

MasterJayJay:Do you have any car manufacturer in Nigeria that can produce a vehicle that will meet up with the specifications required of the presidents car? Do you have any idea the level of security tech put into a presidents car? You think that the president of a country should be using cars made from a company that has not been tested and trusted for the level of military tech security put into a presidents car? You will say if you tell innoson he will produce it. Our president should be moving around in a trial and error car? Where are the pick ups that were bought for Road safety from Innoson today, why do you think almost all government agencies moved from Innoson vehicles to other brands. Even this last set of vehicle FG bought are Lanre Shittu, Road Safety dumped Innoson and returned to Peugeot.... Is that the kind of company that should be trusted to produce a presidents car? Some of you just talk anyhow. Those car brands you mentioned can you compare any of them to Nigeria companies who can't even make a proper pickup for Road safety?? |
