If Governors had so much powers to determine election results, Sanwo-olu would have delivered Lagos for Tinubu. Despite Umahi being a powerful minister today, he could only deliver a paltry 39,000 vote to Tinubu. Hope Uzodinma could only deliver 2500 votes to Tinubu. 2500 votes in an APC State! Bold of you to assume much has changed after the dismal performance of Tinubu. Except you're relying on rigging.

P.S: Add all the votes in each of the states together, it's still less than the margin Tinubu got in Kaduna.

Since you yourself can see that Eastern votes were due to ethnical hatred for Tinubu, why were the Easterners expecting so much from APC which they detested so much? Tinubu even tried to have compensated Umahi with a very strong portfolio.

The governor of Akwa Ibom as at that time was fully against Akpabio and Tinubu. In 2027, we have a Governor Eno who has made it clear he has nothing against Akpabio and Tinubu. Again, Akpabio is now the incumbent Senate President unlike in 2023 when he had no office or Federal Power. The People of Akwa Ibom are not interested in losing the Senate Presidency. They will vote massively for APC.

See the way he's boasting that Tinubu only won 4 out of 6 SW states but when another conversation comes up now the same person will curse all Yorubas for voting Tinubu or say they are all tribalists. 😂

It is very easy to understand that these guys' bitterness toward the Yorubas is beyond politics. It is hatred that stem from deep envy/jealousy.

So we are now celebrating 30% in a Southern State from a Southern President. With the noise that Akpabio makes, one would think he delivered his State to the APC. Alas, he was beaten black and blue by Atiku. Atiku won Bayelsa and Akwa Ibom but our so-called Southern candidate can only manage to win Rivers in the entire Southsouth, 4 out of 6 states in the Southwest and none at all in the Southeast. The North made Tinubu President.
