Good morning nairalanders, happy first Sunday of the month there this particular topic I wanted to ask us about. I usually follow church sermons online and pay my dues through church account. Now the reason why I stopped attending church is because of the fact the my church is far from my location and honestly speaking right now financially I am having some issues.

Yes going to church is good but does it make you a holier person than those that don't go. I just got confronted by someone now because he attended church service. It's noe looking like I'm a demon.

Sometime last year one of my classmate name excluded.... We usually pray online and have Bible study classes. Now my reasons for withdrawal from him was this. He dreamt that another of my classmate was gonna be his wife. Now back to reality she's wasn't ready to succumb to him. Next thing I'm hearing she's a witch and she's behind his backwardness. Up to today I don't even know why he's hating in her.

Honestly I need money,I am always working I even introduced him to my online work. It's data consuming but it's worth it, I'm still learning the process...next thing he's saying that it's what the devil is using to make me addicted and ruin my spirituality.

And this guy will still be asking me for money,he said God speaks to him and sometimes I do believe him though because I always try my best to allow the spirit of God use me.

Last week I remember coming here to ask for data because the plan I was using got taken out,it was so frustrating I didn't have a penny I decided to buy card instead that's why I said it's settled.

Honestly at this point I don't know if I'm going astray,I remember after that week I helped someone out and that day I was given #2500 by parents at school. I give when I have because I believe it will come back and God bless givers. I'm not perfect is there anyway I'm not serving God well please tell me. I'm just trying my best to survive in this trying era if I don't work who will do it for me.

As far as the issue if not going to church is concerned,I have sighted a branch nearby and would be going soon. Is it that I don't understand religion? Infact this thing is really confusing me if anyone has experiences please share let me also learn.

If you think I need to know somethings don't hinder to tell me. I want to understand this issues better afterall it's a new year and there's always room for improvement thank you.

Well I'm also not perfect infact no one is perfect but firstly op, I think you should get in touch with a religious leaders or cleric for counseling on the issue of your confusion about Christianity
Secondly you need to have a personal encounter with God, because Christianity is most importantly based on our relationship as believers with Christ.
And lastly I pray to the Holy Spirit to grant you guidance spiritually and to God Almighty to provide for your needs according to his riches in Christ Jesus. Amen

1. Religion is a scam; your churches(online and offline) are merely the fronts for those grand scams. Giving money to churches does not benefit you in any single way, not even one. When you give money to churches, it goes into the pockets of those who run the business, who, in turn, use it as they please, mostly for their own gain. End of story!

2. Given the state of the Nigerian economy, you are better off saving up ever dime you have while occasionally helping those around you since no man is after all an island than giving money to fraudsters pastors whose desire is only to fill their pockets and lives as much as possible.

3. As for God, He does not have a bank account, nor does He collect or need money made by any country in this world, so I don't know why you all easily think that He somehow needs your money. Your wicked friend who goes around demonizing people and ideas that his small mind seems incapable of handling may have that need, but I have never read anywhere that any particular one of the 4000 known deities owns a bank or account # and maybe even loves to have money given to him in any one particular currency. So, that thing you call spirituality, you would do better to begin checking the particulars of it to be sure of its worth to you.

And if you follow God rightly people would run from you because you will be seeing that they are still devils even if they go to churches.

And the funny thing is that it is you who threatens them because you do not go to church because it clearly means that you do not want to join them.

And I have not gone to church since 2015 I think, so choose do you want to please God or please men? That is the exam in front of you.
