Ogunbode Kodri Adedamola Olasunkami went missing on January 16. His girlfriend reported that he had called her to say he was going to church. When he didn't return, his girlfriend insisted that he had gone to church as planned.

The police investigated and arrested the pastor of the church, Prophet whepetoji babaniyah.

Initially, the pastor denied any knowledge of Ogunbode's whereabouts and claimed he hadn't been to church that day.

However, further investigation revealed a transfer of 1.5 million naira from Ogunbode's account to the pastor's account on the same day. Another transfer was made to the pastor's son's account.

The police detained the pastor and later arrested his accomplices. One of them confessed to killing Ogunbode and removing some of his body parts. The remaining body parts were buried around the church premises, CCC ILERI OLUWA PARISH, LASU 2. PPL OKOMAIKO LAGOS.

The police found the buried remains and discovered other evidence, including guns, axes, and cutlasses, suggesting that the pastor and his accomplices may have been involved in other crimes.
