My friend is a drug addict. He takes all kinds of drugs like codeine, totoline, nicotine, emzolyn, Arizona, weed, loud and etc. E remain only colos weh him never take. He has tried numerous times to quit this dangerous habit, it always ends in futility. He narrated his ordeal to me. He told me that he always thought of commiting suicide but I preached to him that anyone who commit suicide would go to hell. What can this my friend do to break free from the shackles of this menace called drug addiction? Please I need your candid opinion. My friend's life matter. He is so emaciated, looking older than his age. Those who are is elder are bowing down to greet him, little did they know that he is just in is mid_20s. Deep within him, he knows. As you’ve adviced repeatedly, there is nothing more you can do past taking him to rehab. Greetings Sir. I am so sorry for what your friend is going through and kudos to you for seeking out ways to aid him. Please, do take him to the nearest psychiatric hospital in your area, Psychiatric hospitals have rehabilitation programs for drug addicts. Or if because of stigmatization you can take him to any Psychiatric hospital outside your state of residence. He will be fine, just try to do what I have suggested Sir. I have a rehab center where he can be thrown in, it's like a prison; and he will be given are the necessary attention he needs to brake free from the habit but its a private facility and it will cost him a lot. A private hospital. 13 Likes 1 Share |

Help him find a place where he can stay away from those drugs for good. As a caring friend, consider being there for him for the next six months. You could support him by helping him get some appetite-boosting medicine so he can focus on eating well instead of turning to harmful substances. Meedon:Why are you certain that if your friend commits suicide, he will go to hell? Why lie to him?  2. Your friend can check himself into an addiction clinic or move himself far away from all of the drugs and resources that enable him to retain access to drugs and, hence, the addiction. If he is really intending to quit, then he needs to reach a place where he is finally done with the habit and ready to start anew. |

If he can give his life to Christ totally.....while committed to regular fasting and prayers. Change environment Avoid any Alcoholic bars or joint. Avoid women, fornication and porn Avoid smoker friends. . He problem is that, if he is taken to rehab and after returning he relapses, that's his end. Rehab people who relapse after the therapy do the drugs much more than at first. It all boils down to the guy's personal decision to quit. 2 Likes |
