Bro, I'm a federal government worker, junior staff. I've received my pay for the month of February and it's just the same as what I received November of last year.

The minimum wage is yet to reflect and if the whole country is to complain about it, the new pay will have to be March salary. That's if the government hear word be that

Lagos — Pension teachers in Lagos State under the aegis of Teacher Pensioners of Nigeria (TEPAN) have urged Governor Bola Ahmed Tinubu, to review his stance on paying the harmonised three year old outstanding pension allowance or risk losing their votes.

In a statement signed by the Public Relations Officer (PRO) of TEPAN, Mr. Ayodabo 'Lade, accused Tinubu of failing to pay the arrears to teachers on their correct pension grade since the year 2000, contrary to what was obtainable in other five States of the South-west controlled by the Alliance for Democracy (AD).

When we were paid 19,800 we considered it blissful because we could afford a bag of rice at a go and still have change to run one or two thing but since the allowance was increased to 33,000 with the promise of it further increase to 77,000 it's more difficult to even get a bag of rice within that salary range and still have some light change.

Truly, the country is regressing but we don't like telling ourselves the truth.

I just left Magodo Estate in Lagos state now and I must be sincere with you. I cry for this country. Many in this place don't even know that people are suffering.
