My wife was offered an admission last year October and her resumption was scheduled to be September, January and May but she was pregnant then with our first son which she had late last year and now we are thinking of continuing with the process, I’m worried if the application could still be on and what’s her chances of approval since I believe she now has strong ties with her country back home(family and business) which in my little opinion should make her visa application accepted….i would appreciate genuine contributions as we are pulling in big resources to make this work

Is the school aware of the reason why she has not resumed?

You didn't mention the country but seeking for opinions. Is it visa to Cotonou, Greenland or Afghanistan?
