This is not true.
It gives power to only the President to do that in TIMES OF WAR.
Is Rivers State at war?

That section only talks about the President and the NASS. You don't add to the CFRN what is not.
Okay. Tell us the section of the constitution that gives the governor the power to direct some unelected civil servants to take over the administration of the local councils.

Oga nobody is following the laws again in Rivers State, the same way the governor conducted the LG election without register from INEC as our laws provide, the supreme will decide whether there is tenure elongation or not when he takes the matter to the supreme court.
I doubt you are from Rivers. You have been masturbating on every post that concerns Rivers. If you wish for Anarchy to happen in Rivers, it will follow you and your generation

I thought a federal high court has ruled that local govt chairmen tenures in nigeria can't be extended so why are they still insisting on coming back? Wike and his boys are really very determined to totally destroy rivers state.

Section 135(3) empowers the legislative arm to extend the tenure of office of the executive in case of peculiar circumstances like that of Rivers state. So, it is the responsibility of the Rivers state house of assembly to act to ensure there is not gap at the local government level and not that of the governor. The governor has no such power under the law to direct civil servants to take over the local government administration.
Stop telling lies. That section specifically refers to a time of war. Is war ongoing in Rivers? Why have tenure of Borno gov not been extended

So supreme court has turned to wike and tinibu court where they can just go to get any judgement of their choice without minding what's in the nigerian constitution?

That section only talks about the President and the NASS. You don't add to the CFRN what is not.

There is no section of the Constitution that forbids it either.
That law is inconsistent with Court Judgements.

I will answer these questions in 2 ways:-
1. Justice Omotosho of the FHC dismissed this tenure elongation for the fact that it has become academic. They do not have the locus standi because their tenures had ended.

2. A Rivers High Court also struck out the amended law because it was inconsistent with another law, insisting that their tenures had expired.
They appealed and the judgement was direct, the suit lacked merit.
Note however that the Supreme Court didn't deal with the reinstatement or the law.
I heard Chidi Lloyd say on Channels that the SC had in their ruling pronounced that the provision of s135 can also extend to HoAs and that thereby their extension is legal.

Fubara is a gentleman that's all. I like the fact that he has not allowed Rivers people take the fight to the streets making businesses thrive in peace but further provocation might lead to spontaneous violence by angry Rivers people. I believe it will be wise Tinubu use his office as President to prevent another war front from emerging in Rivers State. Buhari destroyed security of Southeast through bad strategic decision but things seem to move on because Southeast is inland and does not affect Nigerian oil exports. Rivers State is the most important State for Nigeria's economy and if this war is allowed it will cripple our economy in weeks if not days.

But if it's true that will be another fragrant misinterpretation of the law which shows the SC is simply dancing to the tune of politicians
Just like the LGA autonomy nonsense
The same SC that's accusing Fubara of disobeying court orders has found nothing wrong in the fact that one year after their so-called ruling, the LG allocations is still going to the states
They are just clowning

I wouldn't want to believe they will do that, either. They over-reached themselves with that LG Judgement, ironically, only the Justice from Lagos dissented.

I know the CTC will be made public anyways.
