A young female student, was left devastated after her apartment was burglarized for the second time in just six months in Benin, Edo State.

According to the victim, the incident occurred while she was away at school. Upon returning, she found her room ransacked, with the thieves making away with her valuable possessions, including shoes, clothes, gadgets, a television, and other expensive items.

In a heartbreaking video, the distraught lady showed the extent of the damage, revealing how her once-organized room was turned upside down. Fighting back tears, she lamented that she had never stolen from anyone and, when in need, preferred to beg rather than take what wasn’t hers.

"This is the second time in six months! The first time, I kept quiet, but this time, I won’t let it slide. I will go to any length to find those responsible," she vowed.

She further revealed that the burglars gained access to her apartment through her toilet window. Expressing frustration over the rising crime rate, she exclaimed: "Yahoo don hard, now everybody wan dey thief!" (Online scams have become difficult, now everyone is turning to theft).
