The Yoruba and other Southerners successfully resisted the introduction of Sharia in their regions—now we see why that was so important.

Even in Saudi Arabia—the birthplace of Islam—schools remain open during Ramadan. So why is Northern Nigeria closing them? Some Muslims defend this decision, while others argue that it’s wrong, exposing a clear divide. But here’s the big issue—many of those who defend Sharia in the North refuse to challenge their state governments when these policies hurt non-Muslims. Instead, they attack those who speak out against it.

This is a significant reason regional government is highly advocated.

Now Pa Buhari was right when he said a fight against Boko Haram is a fight against the North, because he knows that is their ideology.
