The Chukotka Region in Russia's Far East borders US. The flight distance between Anadyr (capital of Chukotka) to Billings, Montana is about 4800km.
Oreshnik missile can be fired from a mobile road launcher or via railway. Oreshnik missile can hit US mainland.

It has to be fired from land based silos.. it can't be fired from a mobile launcher on wheels or the railway based platform you suggested if that even exists.. So your theory is ZERO..

Like is said before an IRBM has a range of 3,000 to 5,500km.. there's no an IRBM which gets to 5,500km .The moment an IRBM gets to the range of 5,500km it becomes classified as an ICBM..like the Russian "RS-26 Rubezh" It called an IRBM but its range brackets makes it an ICBM ..Any IRBM that gets above the 3,000 km can't be called an IRBM but an ICBM..and the ORESHNIK is an IRBM not an ICBM.. thus it doesn't have the range of 5,500km and can't hit the US mainland.

I have clearly showed you from Google the Oreshnik or any IRBM can't get to the US from Russia..

Let assume Russia want to strike London with Oreshnik missile from the territory of the Russian Federation, it will take only 20mins.
If Moscow want to use their military base in Belarus to target London it will take just 9mins.

It doesn't have to record it maximum flight distance before hitting Montana from Chukotka Region. The flight distance from Chokutka to Montana is 4,700km which is way below 5,500km. You already conceded that an IRBM flight radius fall between 3,000km - 5,500km.

With a low enough payload an IRBM can approach it's maximum range but ICBM's trigger nuclear alerts in most countries including the United States and Russia and qualifies as nuclear testing which is mostly prohibited under multiple treaties especially the TPNW.

The range of an Oreshnik is 5000km and in typical fashion instead of simply pleading ignorance about how the Oreshnik is fired, you displayed your ignorance for the entire world to see. Land based systems are not just stationary or fixed they include mobile platforms too

The Oreshnik is designed to be fired from mobile platforms like nearly all Russian missile systems even the R-28 Sarmat the most powerful missile in Russia's inventory.

I can't believe I'm saying this a key feature of missiles is that they can be transported and fired making it's location difficult to pinpoint in a kinetic engagement.
