| Re: World Obesity Day: Changing Systems Healthier Lives by Tendd: 1:12pm On Mar 04, 2025 |
Dpharmacist:Obesity is largely personal responsibilities.Individuals must make better choices to better their health. We spend much on our phones than we do outdoor or in a gym exercising.lt our choices to walk, jog, run for our health or take bikes or cars when it's not needed. |

Oriyomin25:Exercise is good but not the major cause of obesity. Hit the, streets of lagos and you'd hardly see obese people throughout your day's search. The junks people eat is the main cause. Each time I'm abroad, I must locate an african restaurant or at worst, a Chinese restaurant around me. I can't eat burger king,.KFC or McDonald's chicken. Even the orisirisi that would go with it is disgusting. Give it to an American and see how they'd devour it in a matter of minutes. All we need in Nigeria is supplement and we'd be good. Obesity campaign should be taken to America and south africa who have same food composition as them |

Tendd:It's a 2 way thing. When your environment doesn't favour you it's becomes more difficult. |
| Re: World Obesity Day: Changing Systems Healthier Lives by Dpharmacist(op): 1:28pm On Mar 04, 2025 |
Eriokanmi:Exactly. However, our focus here is Nigeria not the west. Let them handle their problems. Nigeria has double disease burden. We have high incidence of communicable and non communicable disease. |

Oriyomin25:Same thing I made in the post. People keep thinking it's this simple. It's not just personal issue it's also a societal issue. |

See how they smuggles mental health into it.. Person overgorge on food because he's a gluton and they blame mental health. The other day a 600 pounder was claiming she's a picky eater, yeah right.🤧 |

Hemanwel:Trash. Arrant nonsensical trash! Only a d1mwitt3d Buff0n would say lifestyles don't matter on how long and healthy you can live. The Japanese have the oldest population in the world and obesity is a crime there.. You still think it's a mere coincidence that you have such a poor life expectancy in your sh.it hole of a country? |

If you have Obese tendencies, please watch what you consume and try, just try to inculcate some exercise routines into your daily paroles rather than shouting "I'm a foodie" upandan! |

Some have food but cannot eat Some can eat but have no food We have food and we can eat Glory be to Jesus Christ World where there are innocent children who didn't ask to be born going to bed and about their day without assurance of food, is the same world people have enough to eat and be obese I'm telling you, when you go to gym and see people complain they are fat, tell them that the first thing they should do is support or set up a food back and give to the hungry... ... then come back to the gym and tone your abs and improve your cardio |
