Highlights
On the 26th of January 2021, 1303 new confirmed cases and 15 deaths were recorded in Nigeria
Till date, 124299 cases have been confirmed, 99276 cases have been discharged and 1522 deaths have been recorded in 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory
The 1303 new cases are reported from 26 states- Lagos (478), FCT (211), Nasarawa (83), Rivers (72), Kwara (42), Edo 36), Ondo (34), Benue (32), Kaduna (32), Katsina (26), Plateau (26), Kano (25), Taraba (25), Osun (22), Delta (21), Oyo (21), Niger (19), Sokoto (18), Ebonyi (17), Ekiti (14), Gombe (13), Ogun (12), Bauchi (11), Zamfara ( 8 ), Borno (4) and Jigawa (1)
A multi-sectoral national emergency operations centre (EOC), activated at Level 3, continues to coordinate the national response activities

Can someone just please tell me what is happening or going on in Kogi State. For over six months now. It's only Kogi State that still with just Five (5) cases and the Five (5) cases non of them die (d) nor heal (ed). And no more case (s). What are they using in Kogi State? Abi Kogi State no dey for Nigeria again ni? I don't just understand at all!... I'm confused honestly!

Kogi state has regected any interference of the federal government in the matter of the state's covid-19 situation .So even the federal government is in the dark over whats going on over there.Thesame position Cross River state took before.Cross River state eventually cried out for help from the federal government some weeks back.
So all actual figures are known to Kogi state Governor alone.Even the 5 mentioned there was a battle the governor claims covid-19 is not in the state.Well for me as someone with a scientific background that is very difficult to believe.Except the state is not on this planet or the whole citizens of that state are following strict preventive guidelines which is impossible or the whole citizens are immune to the virus.
