My main problem with the EFFC style is that they are always quick to arrest but are mostly unable to prosecute these highly placed politicians.
They always charge them with big money in the news but they always struggle to prove their cases i court of law.
Why not wait until you have an airtight case before charging them to court, as the FBI always does?
The FBI will take years to investigate before coming for you. When they do come, it's usually a very tight case.

For the next 10 years, EFCC will just be amending, adding, and dropping charges, noting will come out of the case.

The National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Adams Oshiomhole, has said politicians’ sins are forgiven when they join the ruling party.

Oshiomhole made this statement on Thursday, while welcoming new members to the party, at the APC presidential campaign in Benin.

As he reeled out names of those who have defected from the PDP to the APC, he said: “I am told that there are a lot of very very senior people from PDP who have decided to join forces with President Buhari to take the broom to sweep away PDP and to continue to ensure that APC continues to preside all over Nigeria.

“It includes my own brother, my friend who comes from my own clime, Henry Duke Genebe. He is the former organising secretary of PDP and we also have former vice chairman PDP and leader of Edo North of PDP. We also have my brother Chief Esheshi Godwin. He is also former council chairman and my very dear friend. We have quite a number of other leaders who have come.

“We have quite a number of other leaders who have come… in fact, once you have joined APC, all your sins are forgiven.”

The lack of state-owned pipe-borne water in the homes of Lagos residents has continued to be a source of concern, a non-profit group, Corporate Accountability and Public Advocacy Africa (CAPPA) has said.

At a press event to mark this year’s World Water Day, the group said its monitoring team’s visit to state-owned waterworks showed that most of them are not operational.

The group said the waterworks it visited include the ones at Maryland, Mushin, Ikorodu, Obalende, Agbowa, Onikan, Ikoyi, and Amuwo Odofin.

Only the one in Ikoyi is producing water, according to CAPPA.

Embezzled 700billion out of 3 trillions? EFCC can never convict a politician because they don't have the political will to do that. They don't do their due diligence. Churn out numbers, do media trials without evidence and abandone the case. They don't have intention to make jail them in the first place
