I don't support trading on fake drugs because of the health implications. But using it to punish innocent people who have no business to do with it is unfair and inhuman.

I am against the production of fake drugs! But to be honest, what those NAFDAC officials are experiencing is well deserved to an extent!

NAFDAC busted some stores producing fake drugs...they seized the drugs and destroyed them which is good! But why go ahead to seal a whole area of the market where other people who do their legitimate trade like selling of plumbing and building materials who know nothing about those doing their illegal drug trade?

You seal the market as a whole and hold the legal traders who deal on legitimate merchandise to ransom thereby crippling their businesses!

The traders then decided to fight back and here is this clown taking a picture with his sorry face holding drugs like the traders give a hoot about that?

Any NAFDAC official that allowed himself/herself to be used as a willing tool in the hands of politicians who want to cripple the economic activities of Ndigbo should be dealth with by those traders!

The Director of National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control NAFDAC, South East Zone, Dr Martins Iluyomade, on Tuesday, narrowly escaped hoodlums attack at the popular Ogbo-Ogwu Bridge Head Market in Onitsha, Anambra State.
So Onitsha get Hoodlums? I thought it's only Lagos that get hoodlums.

NAFDAC turns blind eye to very toxic foods and drugs produced by etablished big foreign corporations like Nestle, Cocacola,Ndomie and Pifzer.
So these raids have little to do with public health or safety , but more about protecting the profits of giant multinationals like Peifzer.

Times are very hard people cannot afford to have their shops and source of income sealed , so better believe that now that they have formed mobs that successfully chased the NAFDAC operatives away, they would only get more determined and encouraged to continue doing so until they are left alone to continue their business.

Almost all manufactured products we consume in Nigeria is toxic or unhealthy and we are even being exposed to GMO crops and vegetables so lets us have some perspective and not just penalize innocent traders who know nothing about how the products they trade are manufacured.

People will fight back if you stop them from feeding themselves.
Times are hard and extreme hardship would cause extreme response from these traders .

Example happened in Anambra with those environmental operatives who beat back market traders who encroach the road or break some other rules and destroy or seize their goods.
This has been how they operated for years even decade, but recently , severe hardship made the market traders to organize and fight them off to prevent siezure of their goods.
