As it is with every Spiritual practice, Every man suffers as he grows spiritually, wether a mormon, an atheist, a theist etc…humans are conformed to deal with the most common sins of all, the 7 deadly sins (Pride, Greed, Gluttony, Lust, Envy, Wrath, Sloth) ask yourself irrespective of your spiritual inclination which of these have you consciously overcome since your earthly life experiences? The other guy who comes to talk of African tradition and what not may have been guilty of any of the above , so as is with a Christian or one who doesn’t believe in any of it. Humanity is a consistent growth.

I think the problem is the the understanding of the difference between religion and religious...

You can believe in God and not belong to a particular religion.
I have friend who goes to mosque on Fridays, goes to church on Sundays, he never misses any traditional festival or sacrifices of the gods of his father's....

I know very few people with his level of spiritual intelligence.

What is your own religion?

I asked this question because by the time i understood what Christianity stands for tears of joy rolled down my cheek and i keep thanking God for helping me to know His way: The narrow road to everlasting life! Matthew 7:13-14

I will love to know any religion that could make sense better than Christianity the Way {John 14:6} Christ Jesus who is the Prince of Peace {Isaiah 9:6} taught us. Matthew 28:20

Very apt. I have observed that most people weigh in heavily on the outward aspects of religion other than what is inward, compassion, mercy, kindness etc…

If you opened the books to read for yourself, abandoning all of the other religious nonsense you have been filled with up until now, you would find the narrative contained in it is completely nothing of what even the religion of Christianity has been trading for almost over 1800 years now.

You may say what you like, everyone’s entitled to their opinion but the Bible’s shares a timeless wisdom of the human race, except you claim to know everything, there’s a certain biblical truth that you cannot deny and that truth has been delivered by Jesus christ of Nazaren mandating every man to find God from within through him who is the truth and the life.

RELIGION: Gathering of people whose feelings and hopes towards a deity is the same so they keep doing things related to what they all agreed upon as duty towards their deity.


FALSE RELIGION: The gathering of people whose claims totally negates their actions {2Timothy 3:5} so they are saying something but their actions says another thing yet they will continue to gather each seeking his or her selfish desire.

TRUE RELIGION: Gathering of like minded people WORKING towards what they believe {James 2:18-26} so unlike false religion where each person is seeking his or her own personal interest they are working as One body {John 17:22} for the benefit of all concerned. James 1:27


This is what many don't know but when they see a nice person blinded by false religion they will conclude: there is no God! Psalms 10:4
