Trump would not sanction or go to war with Russia because of the "dollar" yes dollar.

Doing any of the above would make the BRICS nations to abandon dollar and develop their own currency which will weaken dollar and the economic strength of the US.

Dollar is backed by "crude oil" while the BRICS currency is backed by "Gold and Silver" tell me which would stand the test of time. - it's BRICS. Dollar may not fall but gain competition.

The best for trump to do is to befriend Russia/China and other BRICS nation and make them lose interest in the BRICS currency.

Is Russia taking loans from you? A heavily sanctioned country by most of the dominant economies in the world and yet it is still surviving. They are busy looting Russian assets overseas and domiciled in their countries and claim they are the democratic ones. Russia has the required military might, that is not in question. They would have been invaded long ago, if that was not the case. Same countries who imposed sanctions, have also been funding Ukraine in the war, yet no headway is being made against Russia. You can only bully someone who is weak. Russia is a Superpower like the U.S. Bullying is an aberration in such a relationship and left for weaker countries. Ukraine is a pawn.

So, it is not as simple as you believe and reduced it to money. There are several factors. Don't carry this your crude Nigerian mentality about money to analyse international affairs.
