A Nigerian lady, Chioma Ifeanyi-Eze, has shared an interesting story about how her husband won her heart, even while she was dating a medical doctor.

Taking to her social handle, she wrote:

"My husband has one of the rarest chasing skills I have seen. I was dating a medical doctor when I met my husband. He never for one day said anything about the doctor nor asked me anything about my relationships with anyone. He just focused all his energy on making me laugh a lot, enjoying the friendship, building a closeness, and finally proposed."

According to her, even though her then-boyfriend, the doctor, complained about how much she laughed during her husband's calls, she reassured him that they were just friends. She even thought she wouldn’t date her husband because of his tall and huge stature.

However, her husband’s strategy was different—he never competed or spoke about the doctor. Instead, he used deep care, attention, peace of mind, and laughter to gradually win her over.

"Alas, my husband had the baddest strategy of building the deepest friendship and disarming all the other chasers without ever discussing them for one day. Chai."

Eventually, she was the one who dismissed everyone else because none could match the joy and peace he brought into her life. Now, 14 years into marriage, she still wonders where he learned such an incredible approach.

"14 years on, he is still such an amazing choice. I respect his strategies till date."
