This suspension is just for her unruly behavior and utter disrespect of Senate rules, the second suspension is still coming in front.

That will be for attempted blackmail of the senate president by accusing him of sexual harassment without any shred of evidence.

I can't take a woman who has 6 children from 4 different fathers serious when she says she is rattled by sexual advances from a man she got a 150 million dollar contract from when he was governor for her boyfriend who she took to court and forced to marry her or else pay for damages to her body.

Whatever disagreement they had going on in their private business life should have been dealt with in private and not spilled over on the senate floor.

Not using the Senate where serious people's business is meant to be carried out for personal nonsense.

The suspension of Senator Natasha is the beginning of the end of Senator Akpabio. He can't preside over allegations against himself but that's Nigeria for you.

If I were her, I would take this petition to the international criminal courts. If the senate wants to be petty, then she can be as well. I will file a human rights violation with the international criminal courts. I will ask for a visa and travel van fir every member of the senate ethics committee that voted in favor of her suspension. Take it international.

She came first time and disrupted the senate because she failed to observe procedures. Then she tried to blackmail the senate by presenting a petition and could not even follow the procedures for laying petitions.

Like someone asked, even if she doesn’t know, does she not have aides?

Don't come here to blackmail the Senate Institution, because some people want to use you!
The senate may have their own Problems,e.g they ( National Assembly) have refused to do or Conduct their Yearly -Oversights, to So Many Ministries, Agencies and Depts - but the Case against Natasha is different.

Now I understand why I keep seeing useless comments up and down in Nairaland, if you watch the live session concerning this suspension, you will know that no single senator support her, even the other two senator from Kogi were against her , her party is against her, even the other female senators are not with her, She failed in all her action, she didn't even understand the rules concerning the senate. She should just learn from her mistake.

Personal issues should not mix with Parliamentary issues.

There are legal ways to address “sexual harassment” but definitely not by legislative disobedience.

Who claimed there was no evidence? The Senate initially refused to hear her first petition regarding sexual harassment against the Senate President because it wasn’t signed. After she signed and resubmitted it, they stated they couldn’t discuss the matter because it was in court. Then, they initiated a new petition against her, alleging that she changed her seat.

Why are they so afraid of her petition regarding sexual harassment?
