How I understand why I keep seeing useless comments up and down in Nairaland, if you watch the live session concerning this suspension, you will know that no single senator support her, even the other two senator from Kogi were against her , her party is against her, even the other female senators are not with her, She failed in all her action, she didn't even understand the rules concerning the senate. She should just learn from her mistake.

You made a valid point, her high handedness has caused her all this set back. The drama queen wanted to divert the attention of the senate and Nigerians from her violation of senate rules and impeding consequences which the senate has rightly handed over to her today.

Her suspension is not because of her allegation of sexual overtures of Senate President.

She was suspended for her disrespect to the senate as an institution on the 20th of February.

The Nigerian Senate can’t suspend Senator Natasha. They didn’t put her in the Senate. Her constituents did.

Note: The Senator reading out the outrageous charges is an Labour Party Senator.

Exactly! There are procedures.

The senate is not for the senators only, it is a Nigerian institution. And that's besides, as Ireti Kingibe said, the senators have their diners, away from the public eye where they handle issues with most ample time. That location wasn't enough for her, she had to go to the Senate behaving like a market women on heat.

Look at this old case involving Omo-Agege:

The judge held that while the National Assembly had the power to discipline its erring members, the reasons given by the Senate for Omo-Agage’s suspension was unconstitutional, adding that a legislator could not be suspended for more than 14 days.

Victim of any purported sexual harassment should go to court and not use that against a clear case of legislative disobedience to rules and proceedings.

Even if well established,a case of sexual harassment can never be used to nullify or justify a clear case of legislative breaches.

A case of Sexual harassment outside the confines of the National Assembly,can be decided only in the court of law!

There was no iota of any shred of evidence to support her allegation. It was a case of giving a dog a bad name, giving that people already hated Akpabio..and she thought she could ride on the public sentiment ..therefore if she throws sexual allegation into the mix, she will get away with it. Women and the "me too" mentality.

As she's leaving the senate today to embark on her six months suspension, she and her husband can arrange at the entrance gate,a kiss me,kiss you photo op for the road! Nonsense and Ingredients sad
