How do we go from a change of Chair to sexual harassment? Someone doesn't seem to like order and in order not to take one, she would move heaven and earth to do so.

I knew this would happen. That panel is filled with supporters of akpabio. So filing the petition was even a wrong step in the first place.

How do u refer to something as being revered when the catalyst or agents are worthless......sir in all sincerity can u say something outrightly goood about a typical Nigerian senator...........!! This is injustice... Why the haste in suspension? What has she done to warrant 6 months suspension? We Nigerians are fond of intimidation and oppression all for been in position of authority.

I will file a human rights violation with the international criminal courts. I will ask for a visa and travel van fir every member of the senate ethics committee that voted in favor of her suspension. Take it international.

The disagreement started when Albert Akpan, the senator representing Akwa Ibom north-east, accused the All Progressives Congress (APC) of plotting to foment trouble during the 2019 governorship election in the state.

Akpabio sought to respond to the allegation using the microphone of Ali Ndume, senator representing Borno south, since the microphone on his seat was not functioning.

However, Saraki insisted that Akpabio moves to a different seat with a functioning microphone, which had been assigned to him by the clerk.

Saraki refused to allow Akpabio to speak using the microphone attached to Ndume’s seat. But Saraki’s directive to the lawmaker plunged the senate into a rowdy session.

Amid the controversy, the senate’s clerk said when he assigned a seat with a functioning microphone to Akpabio, the senator said he would prefer the seat without a functioning microphone.

You made a valid point, her high handedness has caused her all this set back. The drama queen wanted to divert the attention of the senate and Nigerians from her violation of senate rules and impeding consequences which the senate has rightly handed over to her today.

Yea, people are just misunderstanding the all issues, she was suspended for not obeying senate rule, not the allegations, now that she have been suspended, if she have enough evidence concerning the sex allegations, she can pursue those allegations in the court, but if she dont have any evidence, she have to apologize to the house and the SP.
