This is so sad, Abubakar Lawal was such a nice person we once played together in Sokoto state, before he got, contract with Kano pillars and also played for Wikki toris before he got the international Contract, while i am surprised why no Representative from NFF because this is a player that once went for trial in Abuja, his friend Usman was picked and played for under 20 then. I was opportune yo attend tye funeral. May His gentle soul rest in peace and pray the truth behind his death reveal soonest

Kindly shed more light on his death. How did he die? Was the NFF notified of his death? A lot of us are hearing of him for the first time, perhaps the NFF were unaware of his demise as well.

Muslims, how do you expect NFA to be present when you people do hurry hurry burial?

Flown to terrorist ravaged Sokoto State and buried same day. Unless there is NFA officials already in Sokoto State, you will be sick to expect any official to fly immediately to Sokoto for the burial rites.

Maybe they were not formally invited to the burial ceremony. You don't just go to a place where you are not officially invited even if you know the person or he is a member of your association.

I think they are the one that supposed officially send greetings to the family when they heard of his death. It is then that an invitation could be given to them.
