This was what I was saying yesterday and one stupid idiot was talking rubbish. Your disobeyed court order in order to punish someone who broke your laws. |

Decision about Natasha's suspension wasn't made by Akpabio alone but majority of the senators. Natasha's petition is even yet to be responded to by the Senate, why should they obey such order? |

To be honest, the internals of the legislative arm is their own issue, and they enjoy independence in that regard. |

Here we are again. helinues:Guy, the way you think!?! Is this all your brain processed after reading all the legal quotes in that report up there? Why should we waste our time with separation of powers if one arm of government can take such a decision irrespective of what another arm says? Chai!!! If you realized how much this attitude is damaging your psyche, you'll just stop it today. Saga16:Says who? Just you? Goodmarlian:Read this article and you may have your answer. Even if Natasha's accusation is true, she nailed herself out of carelessness. It's not always about throwing sentiments around.

mrvitalis:Arthur Nzeribe Nzeribe, a lawmaker from Imo state, was suspended indefinitely in November 2002 by then-Senate President Pius Anyim over allegations of N22 million fraud. He died in 2022 at the age of 83 Another The senate suspended Abdul Ningi on Tuesday, March 12, 2024, for three months for alleging that the 2024 budget was padded by N3 trillion. He subsequently resigned as chairman of the Northern Senators Forum (NSF). |

The judge that gave that court ruling to halt the disciplinary committee that was setup to look into a petition filed by Natasha accusing Akpabio of sexual harrasment will surely face disciplinary action from the NJC. Justice Ojukwu had earlier ruled on a similar matter brought to her court by a federal legislator challenging the Senate from carrying out a disciplinary hearing that the matter was purely a legislative matter and not a judicious one and had the senator go back to face his peers in the senate. For those low iQ imbes out there, , note that the disciplinary committee was setup by Akpabio to look into a petition filed by Natasha accusing the SP of sexual harrasment. Natasha then ran to court to stop the committee from inviting her which is only natural to hear first hand from the petitioner . How can you submit a petition and refuse to honour the invitation of the senate disciplinary committee setup to investigate your claims of sexual harassment? This is akin to a woman going to the police to report someone of sexually harassing her and then going to get a court order baring the police from inviting her to substantiate your allegations ? But we know most of you are either raving mad or just low iQ ferets or both. |

You too think about it. How can judiciary stop legislature for deliberating on their internal process, like the house rule. If it's difficult for you, reverse it and see if it makes sense. Can legislators ask court not to pass judgement on a litigation in process? |

ChiefJusticeFuc:You are accusing people of low iq whereas you are rambling confidently with arrogant ignorance The matter Natasha was summoned by the Ethics committee for was the issue of her refusal to sit on her allocated seat and not the sexual harassment petition which was initially rejected by the senate Shame on you. Empty barrel |

mrvitalis:Because that was their standing rule. Their standing rule would determine and not a law court. In addition, you are buttressing my point. It is an internal affair by an independent arm of government. |

What fire? Do you people know what separation of power is at all? Do you know that the executive, legislative and judicial arms of government are independent and not under each other but to work together? Imagine if the executive(Tinubu) also decides to have a say? 45years old woman that has had at least 4 different husbands, is she competing with the Samaritan woman or what? |

Useless court order You misbehaved with gross misconduct, then went to get a dumb court order to suspend investigation being conducted by senate committee? Does that even make sense? The judge that gave that court order should be sanctioned. In a ruling delivered on the 4th of March, 2025, the court, inter alia, granted “an interim order restraining the Senate Committee on Ethics, Privileges, and Code of Conduct from proceeding with any investigation against Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan concerning the alleged misconduct arising from the events that occurred during the Senate plenary on 20th February, 2025.”. I know many people don’t have sense in this country and are rather too emotional and sentimental rather than being rational…. Look at the court order, does it make sense?? |
