EmeeNaka:sharrap... stop shifting goal post, if u like make Kanuri or Korean mandatory in your schs in the SE, e no concern us. |
| Re: Igbo Now Compulsory In Abia State Schools by ChiefJusticeFuc: 4:32pm On Mar 07, 2025 |
MightySparrow:No one is disputing that. Why not just fck off back to it and limit your Biafra to your Ibo enclaves in the SE. |

Was it optional before? That was wrong. 😈😈😈 As a secondary school student in Lagos, I had no choice and I ended up loving it. |
| Re: Igbo Now Compulsory In Abia State Schools by Wickedlywicked: 4:39pm On Mar 07, 2025 |
EmeeNaka:Yes Lagos started it and folks like you were foaming in the mouth but now that Abia is doing the same thing, the tune has changed and it’s being commended as a good thing ; Una dey mad seh and we will keep pleading to the devil that laid this curse on you to have mercy and revoke it as soon as possible😂 |

Impressive! I was elated when I saw a public school in Ogun state reciting the national anthem, pledge, and the Ogun state anthem in Yoruba. There's no way you'd not like it. I hope they can sustain this. It will surely help. |
| Re: Igbo Now Compulsory In Abia State Schools by t2luv1: 4:40pm On Mar 07, 2025 |
Kdon2:Not really. Yoruba had been a subject class in all the SW high schools as far back as I can remember. Why it took the Igbo this long to do this I don't know. |

Indigenous languages should be the primary language with English as a mandatory second language. No nation has ever become great with another man’s language. |

The same tribal bigots that complained about this in Lagos, will hail this move in Abia. Hypocrisy is in their DNA. |
| Re: Igbo Now Compulsory In Abia State Schools by EmeeNaka: 4:42pm On Mar 07, 2025 |
Wickedlywicked:Lagos state started it. I warned about that, but now you can see the fruit of South West nationalism. This tribal political behavior always emanate from South West and spread. |
| Re: Igbo Now Compulsory In Abia State Schools by IPIGSRSHALLOW: 4:43pm On Mar 07, 2025 |
Wickedlywicked:Hypocrisy is deep rooted in their DNA. Very pathetic souls. |

ednut1:Lol. Why are you pandering. Even Igbos themselves know the truth about their lack of History. Don't try to deflect the topic to other tribes. This is about Igbos and not about other tribes.

t2luv1:The simplest answer to this is that both languages aren’t in the same hierarchy. The Yoruba language should be compared with major languages spoken by real humans like the Hausa, Swahili and Fula😂 Question answered🤝 |

Kdon2:Baba I am surprised o. See the way they are ll commending the move. They were actually condemning a similar move in Lagos o, Yoruba state. Can you imagine? |
| Re: Igbo Now Compulsory In Abia State Schools by Kdon2: 4:52pm On Mar 07, 2025 |
yommen:It's called YORUBAPHOBIA☹️ |
| Re: Igbo Now Compulsory In Abia State Schools by yommen: 4:54pm On Mar 07, 2025 |
EmeeNaka:What is tribal political behaviour in making the local language compulsory in public schools in the such state? Our children shouldn't learn our language again? The move by abia state is of course a step in the right direction. Children in the state should learn Igbo which is the local language in the state. We are only surprised that you people condemned the move in SW but praised it in SE. You want to speak your own language but do not want others to speak theirs. That's the real hypocrisy there because you always believe it's only you that matters. Awon wayray! |

[quote author=ChiefJusticeFuc post=134438941]Should I post the response by your fellow IPOB cretins when LASG state assembly passed a law mandating Yoruba language be taught at secondary schools across the state ?[/quote Post . You don’t have any receipts |

Excellent step! Embrace your root. Ethnic awareness is great, build it with clear understanding of diversity in relationship with other cultures. There is no no man's land. Go Abia! ![]() |

Wickedlywicked:Keep telling people that Nigeria's problems are the Yorubas, but people will come out of the woodwork and start calling me names. When someone comes out and impugns that other ethnic people's language has been spoken by non real human you know you got a problem. Before you piece of Sh*t start calling me names just know that I am a Yoruba person from Ijebu Ode |

All what you have to do is develop a plan for going back to our language for everything. The next step should be teaching art subjects in Igbo. Then, few years later once students have been well grounded in Igbo language, then use Igbo for sciences too. Britain has already shown how it should be done. See intellectual slavery, the worst legacy of colonialism. Read the chapter: we must do what Britain did in 1348. If you're talking about breaking free from western control and enjoying the resources under our feet, that's the right step towards it's realization |

EmeeNaka:You warned me? What’s our business with whatever the Osus decide to do with their useless lives? No Chinedu, we are the westerners, we are not meddlesome people as we are too exposed and sophisticated to be doing such. |

Yoruba is compulsory in Ogun state schools. What are some people yapping about? |
| Re: Igbo Now Compulsory In Abia State Schools by Amalekki: 5:06pm On Mar 07, 2025 |
t2luv1:Yorubas don't go after any other cultures land as no man's land or kill people on their homeland and they never have issue with any host community. How are they the problem? Nairaland comment? |
| Re: Igbo Now Compulsory In Abia State Schools by lawani(m): 5:07pm On Mar 07, 2025 |
If you don't protect ypur language, who will?. Parents are not helping matters by speaking English at home. A proverb says if birds have learnt to fly without perching then hunters will learn to shoot without missing. So the response to the parents is to make local languages compulsory in schools. It is actually better to make them the language of instruction while English is just a subject. That is the ideal thing. History is also important because if you don't study history, you will not learn from it. |

t2luv1:If you like, call yourself a Yoruba man from the land of baboons, my statement remains valid. Also being a Yoruba from Ijebu doesn’t make you a sound/whole human because in every population, there must be aberrancy and if you’re pained, you are free to go use the lagoon my friend😂 Please compare our language to English, Xhosa, Swahili, Hausa and the other prestigious tongues and not the one spoken by the people living in the zoo and governed by a clone from Sudan😂 |
