lawani:Thank you. Other languages including Oyinbo, Asians and others are preserved yet some clowns are ashamed of their own root and language. My homeland is my homeland! |

As it should be. If no be say to write jamb and waec no go easy for local language. That's the way to go |
| Re: Igbo Now Compulsory In Abia State Schools by EmeeNaka: 5:22pm On Mar 07, 2025 |
yommen:I never praised anything. I definitely do not agree with any state making a local language compulsory for everyone in the state. Government can promote any language they want, but they shouldn't make anyone compulsory. Most states in Nigeria are multi-ethnic and that must be taken into consideration. |

Good - way to go! Same way Yoruba language is compulsory in Lagos State and the entire south west. |

| Re: Igbo Now Compulsory In Abia State Schools by Shikena(m): 5:37pm On Mar 07, 2025 |
Igbo is the homeland language of Abia. If you are not comfortable with any decision that preserves their identity, go back to your state. Handling multiethnicity will be addressed as part of diversity training but homeland language must be compulsory. Learning the local language is a critical part of multi-ethnic communities. Simple. chopnaira:It make sense now to you but when Lagos state introduced Yoruba language, you and your others online bandits were attacking Sanwo olu. Are some other tribes not schooling in Abia in primary and secondary school. It's very easy but you people exhibit the crying mentality. If the languages are taught, those who are not interested should simply leave the class. For those of us who went to the unity schools, popularly called FGC, HIY an abbreviation of hausa, Igbo and Yoruba languages was introduced as compulsory subjects, you are to choose one and many of us don't even have choice to rather choose one even when we can't hear the languages. Back then I choose to offer the hausa language because I used to like how some students speak the language. Igbos, is not everything you criticize. |

Abia State has become a no man's land. We will petition the UN, EU, UNESCO, and other international organizations. They want to oppress and marginalize us, but we will not allow this to stand. This is the voice of IPOB and Obirodent miscreants. |
| Re: Igbo Now Compulsory In Abia State Schools by kedeojo(m): 5:52pm On Mar 07, 2025 |
Almunjid:When Lagos state government introduced Yoruba language to enable the young Yorubas to understand and speak fluently their language, the igbos started attacking Sanwo olu and calling Yorubas tribalistic just because they don't want their language to go into extinction. Now that Otti has also did same, why are the hypocrite quiet now. All they have to say now, it's good. Anyway am not surprised cos Yorubas always leads and others follows. |

| Re: Igbo Now Compulsory In Abia State Schools by kedeojo(m): 5:56pm On Mar 07, 2025 |
Kdon2:They are hypocrite. If they have removed shame and follow Yorubas, they will not be crying marginalization. They hate the truth and they are always mad if another tribe, expecially Yorubas started what they later did. Look at the fools now praising Otti. Anyway Otti has always been a Lagos boy and Asiwaju is his master. |
| Re: Igbo Now Compulsory In Abia State Schools by kedeojo(m): 5:59pm On Mar 07, 2025 |
ChiefJusticeFuc:Don't waste your time. They are bunch of fools. Hypocrisy is just too loud on their side. This are among the reasons I don't regard igbos and support them, except i see sensible ones. |

t2luv1:And who told Igbo wasn't a subject class in all the SE high schools in the past? What Otti did was reintroduction of the language and history into school curriculum. Obviously past governments messed up the public school system and reduced funding for some programs and the private has no motivation to teach Igbo in their schools, until recently. |

Wickedlywicked:why are you taking ownership of what I said, making it look like you matter in the scheme of things in Nigeria. I didn't warn you, I don't care about what you do. I warned about it, so those in leadership will read and take heed. |

Abia state people chose their governor at the polling booth. The Abia gov knows the importance of mother tongue. Most of the governors in the southeast are imposed. |

| Re: Igbo Now Compulsory In Abia State Schools by Wickedlywicked: 7:44pm On Mar 07, 2025 |
EmeeNaka:Lagos state started it. I warned about that, but now you can see the fruit of South West nationalism. This tribal political behavior always emanate from South West and spread My darling osu friend, those were your exact words. You said you warned against what Lagos did in what you described as “South West nationalism” (Your olodo self meant “regionalism” but it’s fine) Osu, I know you aren’t very bright just like every other member of your family and tribe but what you said there is used for someone who’s complaining about or regretting what his previous actions had led to. You said it in such a way that one would think we (the Yorubas and Hausas) are complaining about what Abia did😂😂 Osu, we are not built that way. We no really send una for here because we aren’t meddlesome. This was how you were meddling in the affairs of Lagos, condemning the State govt for demolishing houses but when IMO, Enugu and Anambra states govts did same, your eeeediotic selves went mute. I can remember how one mumu Moghalu was vomiting trash and saying Lagos was bad for investment😂 She, Peter Obi and that ugly pig all suddenly went missing in action when same thing happened in the Eastern States of Imo and Anambra. Una dey mad seh and history proves this because this was the exact same thing Azikiwe was busy doing in the SW instead of facing and helping to develop his backward region. Then, Sir Ahmadu Bello stood solidly behind his people in the North in a regionalized manner of leadership while Awolowo was doing the same thing in the South West (leader with regionalism mindset just like Bello). It was only the Igbo land that had no regional leadership figure, no bearing and no ambition because Azikiwe who was supposed to head the region was busy wrestling power with Awo in his land (The SW)😂 Can you now see that this incurable madness of yours didn’t start today? It’s an ancestral thing, so please, stop being hard on yourself, it’s not your fault. |
