If the 4 major candidates run again in 2027, PO will get at least 7 million votes. Unfortunately that may not be enough to win, but yes he’ll get more votes than 2023.

How do I know this? Because now people realize it’s possible to challenge the status quo. In 2023, not many people took PO seriously especially when he left the PDP. By the time they realized what was happening, voter registration had ended.

In contrast, without financial inducement, people won’t leave their homes to go and register to vote for a failed leader. The only reason they’ll do it is in hopes of being paid to vote on Election Day to vote, which will likely happen.

With the rate at which people have suffered under this government, more people will be registered to vote. You think all these politics of Peter Obi Cho Cho Cho and tribal this and that are moving too many people? Not so much. Yes people don’t like it but most people vote for selfish interest. If the present government doesn’t favor them, tribal affiliation comes secondary if PO is promising hope and relief from the current failures of government

Having said all that, PO needs a coalition to win convincingly. They stole it from him the last time because he didn’t meet the all the required criteria to be declared winner, therefore he needs a big coalition. We just have to watch and see if that happens.

Per the bolded, this is the one that amazes me the most, despite Ivb'edo carrying Obi on their head like say na him dey give life, Ndigbo Obidients still abused them and disrespected the Ọba (gha to kpere baba) after the elections.

In a sense, I was pleased about the abuse of ivbiedo, not of the Ọba, because I kept letting Ivbiedo know that these Obidients are not the ones to trust and align with during the elections. They are like Scorpions, even if you want to help them, they'll still sting you in the process.

I take solace in the fact that ivbiedo have seen sense and Peter Obi is not going to get anything if he turns up for the next elections, nothing at all in Edo South at least. Obv'esan and Ovb'afemai can still be following them if they want.
