Abia State Governor, Dr. Alex Otti, has announced that 222 primary and secondary schools across the state are currently undergoing renovation as part of his administration’s commitment to improving
education infrastructure.

Governor Otti made this known on Friday during his monthly media chat (March Edition) with journalists at Government House, Umuahia, tagged "Governor Alex Otti Speaks to Abians."

According to the Governor, the renovation effort prioritizes the most critical schools, with plans to extend the initiative until all communities benefit from upgraded learning environments.

"We have started with the most critical ones and will continue until we achieve clear outcomes in terms of school infrastructure in all the communities," he assured.

Was in Aba recently. It's a construction site especially the auto spare parts market at flyover junction on Port Harcourt Rd... Kudos to Alex Otti. Many people that talk down on the South East probably have not visited.

When I have some good money, I'll visit again.

NB: I'm from the most southern part of South South.

I visited my Mom and Dad 2 weeks ago ...I must admit that there's constant electricity ... although it's very expensive.. I just advice them to reduce the amount of load they use on the prepared meter. God really blessed Abians with this man.. thumbs up Otti God bless you.. .

All the major roads have been repaired; Port Harcourt road, ohanku road, ogbor hill, Azikiwe, Asa road, cemetery road etc even Ariaria and free zone market looks so beautiful now, he is currently working on streets and inroads now. That problem of connecting from one part of Aba is no more there. Electricity is so constant now, just that is costly but it's not government owned.
