And they will not hesitate to immediately increase their price if there's a little increase but to bring it down, na wahala. |

When prices of anything increase in this country, it's reflect on everything. But once the price reduced, we start giving excuses on why it cannot reflect.... We just like to take undue advantage of everything. Everybody wants to oppress everybody |

In Europe and America they have mafia and cartels, in Africa we have trade unions. TimeManager:May mumu not kill you. AMEN. exchange rate has been used by customs to charge imports so it makes sense they use the current rate when Naira is gaining value. Stop disgracing you lineage here sir. |

nedu666:So, transporters are buying petrol in dollars, right?. Where do Nigeria get these bunch of dullards from?.. sorry story. -Kiss the truth! |
| Re: Fuel Price Slash: We Won’t Reduce Fares – Transporters by TimeManager(m): 6:51pm On Mar 08, 2025 |
This reminds me of last year when FG gave a discount of 50% transport fares. Because of that gesture, the cunny transporters increased the interstate prices which came as a shock to the public which then made people think the Government wasn't paying discount on the fares as promised. Meanwhile, it was the greedy transporters who increased the price so as to get more money from the federal government. Only a few of them with the fear of God didn't increase the price. -Kiss the truth! |

TimeManager:Dullard. Is spare part not imported using dollars. Is your petrol not based on dollar pricing. Are vehicles for imported using dollar rate. Try to engage your brain before you engage your mouth. slowpoke |
| Re: Fuel Price Slash: We Won’t Reduce Fares – Transporters by nedu666: 7:05pm On Mar 08, 2025 |
TimeManager:Shit eater propagandist. Can you provide evidence that govt paid for the other 50%. Govt that can't pay corners 77k now wants to pay for millions travelling around Nigeria |
| Re: Fuel Price Slash: We Won’t Reduce Fares – Transporters by TimeManager(m): 7:15pm On Mar 08, 2025 |
nedu666:So, the cost of spare parts determines the price of transportation fare?. I asked again, where do Nigeria get these bunch of dullards?. -Kiss the truth! |
| Re: Fuel Price Slash: We Won’t Reduce Fares – Transporters by zero8zero(op): 7:20pm On Mar 08, 2025 |
nedu666:You mean the spare parts that are being stolen from vehicles and resold at spare parts markets? |
| Re: Fuel Price Slash: We Won’t Reduce Fares – Transporters by NothingDoMe: 7:40pm On Mar 08, 2025 |
zero8zero:There are thousands of car parts in the market. Are you saying they are stolen from thousands of vehicles? |

NNPCL is started with public funds and the Nigerian people are still owners in the company. NNPCL should double up on their capacity in terms of refining, the crude is owned by Nigerians, NNPCL and FG must work together create filling stations everywhere and refine more, so they can force the price down. NNPCL should know that it was created for the good of Nigerians and ensure stable supply Nd good pricing for Nigerians. It is not about only making profit, NNPCL should be working for the good and interest of the Nigerian people by reducing fuel price, simply by controlling the market with more refining capacity, more distribution hubs/filling stations nationwide. |

This is very unbelievable. Mr. OP, I know fully well that the cost of transport from Egbeda to Ikeja was never 100 naira, not to talk of your imaginary 200 or 300 naira. The cost of transport to Ikeja from Egbeda is 800 naira presently and it is easily verifiable. The said 200 is paid by those going to Dopemu roundabout from Egbeda. By the way, the transport fare to Ikeja was 500 naira even as of 2023. You can verify all. Don’t paint a wrong picture here please. Petrol price reduced in Lagos, yet transport cost remains high. It is the same with other states, except that you are being lazy to do a proper job. I wonder how you did not do you homework well before this report of Anambra state. Some of you fellows appear to be very obsessed with matters of Abambra state. Petrol was never 1,600. I wonder how you got that. Even in December when it. Was celebration time, petrol price did not exceed 1,200 per liter. What you call the reduction in interstate transport is the norm for this period. Transporters hiked their prices during the Christmas holidays. Now that the season is over, they have reverted to the prices before Christmas. God is good for example charged between 30k and 35k, depending on the bus operated, before Christmas. Please give us an honest report from other states. Lagos and Anambra are not the only states in Nigeria. |
