Nezzjnr:The one I'd for sale some time last October I sold.it out the very day I placed it on the market, currently I do not have any one for sale. I was honest with my suggestions base on his budget, because as a dealer I know 4m will barely buy him a good car. Mind you, I first asked, for what purpose and my suggestions was base on the status of what it's proposed for. Majority prefer toyota brand not knowing its just a mirrage. |

Felicity001:I am not doubting the reliability of the pencil light. But then, unless it's for transport, we have moved passed the age where low fuel consumption and durability is the only selling point for a car. Pencil light will always remain golden But to cough out 4 million to buy a Naija used, and be using it to carry my children and wife is not worth it. |

izzou:Who told you we have moved passed this lol... na now we even move enter that age... when last did you see people driving the toyota Sequoia, or using Tundra as a private car A client insisted on an i4 toyota venza even if I tried to convince him the V6 is better, he say him no get money for fuel... I laff tire... I nk get money for fuel but you've money to buy a car worth over 20m ![]() |

izzou:How much is 4m worth these days in the auto industry? The dollar is still above a 1500. So your 4m will not get you any new modern car with modern features so it's either you up ur budget or lower your taste. |
| Re: If You Are Uber Partner In Lagos, Please Share Your Experience Here by izzou(m): 12:23pm On Mar 09, 2025 |
Felicity001:I said "Only". Why is your client insisting on Venza since fuel is his headache? He should have bought Korope naa. We have moved passed that as the only selling point for a car, and you know that. Nothing special about a car using 1 litre from Lagos to Ibadan. We don hear. What else? |

Felicity001:I speak for myself anyway No matter how I want to lower my taste, I can never spend 4 million on a Nigerian used pencil light to carry my kids and family. Na myself I dey speak for oh. I'll rather wait till I save more, or better still, look for a deal within my circle. Make I spend 4 million for Pencil Camry, is like spending 50k for Nokia 3310. |

Felicity001:Baba na the same thing we dey talk, it's very simple. Many Nigerians no sabi maintain cars and when they finish dealing with the car they will be looking for who to pass the wahala to after packaging it. I never said there are good naija cars, I only advised him to be careful. Most car dealers are only after their own profits, same with the mechanics. In fact they don't even know the history of the car they are all preaching for u to buy, some errors na when u begin dey use the car u go understand why the previous owner sold it. I will emphasize this again, be careful when buying naija used cars. Let me stop for now. |

izzou:Vehicles are over-priced, as our nation is full of unscrupulous, mostly incompetent businessmen. Compare the price of the scrap toyota to the brand new keke napep. that's enough to tell a rational man what not to do. |

tojahh:It might be better, fitted with CNG. You would recoup faster, controlling for inflation. Nigeria's are to busy following the gospel of false prophets (fake life) - to control for inflation. You dey live fake life, plus inflation dey review your matter on a steady. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wvFDXV0VBg4 |

Gentlelife50:You're supposed to carryout a physical inspection with a trusted technician when buying a USED car (underline the word used). Take your technicians advice and analyse the problem, do you calculations b4 buying, simple! Don't put the blame on neither the seller or the mechanic. Every business man at some point will market his product to sell. If you buy a vad car, blame yourself, don't blame anyone. No one put a gun in your head before you went ahead to make payment weather the car was good or not. |

tojahh:Most of them don't have balls 4m for a good toyota brand... I challenge anybody to bring a toks standard toyota brand from 2006 upwards to my office tomorrow... if my mechanic scans it and satisfies it okay, I'll pay and still give 10k for uber |

Kewtt:I don't wish anyone bad, just make sure you go for regular checkup because that cng thing is like a time bomb waiting.to explode. My friend almost got killed on his 2015 camry... the explosion started with his wiper malfunction Me.i dislike anything artificial, the BMW I just got cane with an android screen, I'm already making plans to reverse to factory. If I want to drive an electric/CNG/SOLAR.or whatsoever car I'll wait till I have the money to afford it, I won't be ignorant again to buy a converted Benz or upgrade Prado 2022 from GX470... I'll wait till when nature/the universe brings it to me. If na tortoise can I can afford today I'll. Buy it and drive it with all pleasure and pride. @izzou one thing I'll never do is put myself under unnessary pressure to carter or please or satisfy my family, if it's school bus I can afford, let them use it, if na bike let them.fly bike, if na trek let them trek, when the time for chopper comes and I can afford it at ease ill do it without a blink. My wife can not tell me which car to buy for her, neither will put myself under unhealthily situation just because I want a car for drop off and pick up. Na as my power reach ingo do, if she no like bettle (tortoise car) make she rest. What matters is the quality education and human training you impart into their lives, not the cost of school fees and the type of car that takes them to school. If you like buy G63 to take them to school, if the child will grow up to be a big person or poor person that G63 or keke napped won't change anything. No go kill yourself because you want the best for your wife and kids, if you drop dead today, they'll live on, sane way I continue to survive ever since my dad died |
