There are people who voted APC in the last election that wouldnt vote APC next, They have become anti APC votes

Instead of them coalescing into one Anti APC bucket of one party they are getting spread all over
Some to SDP, some to NNDP some to LP some to PDP who knows how many more parties

When you want to remove a ruling party, the dumbest thing to do is be splitting the anti ruling party votes

If there are 11 votes 4 for APC, 7 anti APC Instead of beating APC 7-4 but you end up splitting the 7 into 1 for SDP, 2 for LP, 3 for PDP, 1 for NNDP. You just handed the ruling party power once again

Was there anyone else there with them who gave a blow by blow report of what happened? Or it was the survivor who gave all the report and managed to rope himself?

I don’t know if there are witnesses but u are right that it’s always good one speaks to a lawyer before making statements to the police/law enforcement agents . It always goes a long way to decide how a case ends .

For law, Na your story wey you tell the judge dem go use reason your case. Its why even when you have a rock solid case, its always better to get a lawyer and how good your lawyer will determine the direction the case will go

I suspect Miyetti Allah given their structure probably had better lawyers and they quickly capitalized on his slip in initial statements even so that when he got lawyers, they couldn't change that initial statements
