Nothing Has Changed - Fayemi

My attention has been drawn to a story circulating on several online platforms regarding my defection from the All Progressives Congress (APC).

As I have had cause to state in the past, I am a card carrying foundation member of the APC and this position has not changed.

While I have been at the vanguard of demand for greater internal democracy and inclusion in the ruling party, I believe it is still not late for our party to change course and move towards greater inclusion and internal democracy.

The Tinibu/APC govt has NOT been able to achieve anything after 2 years in power but are busy running Katikati over 2027 Election.

Even the much Criticized Buhari's govt was able to bring out Npower as at 2016.

Same El Rufai who claimed on an Arise TV interview barely a month ago that he would never leave APC although APC had left him.

Has today, officially left the party.

This is how it works. This format has been used in Lagos for long time. When it's 2027, the SDP people will be settled and they will hail master. Look at PDP guber candidate in 2023, he is now in APC. If you think it's a lie, go and watch APC primary in 2022 and see how the contestants against Tinubu all surrendered on the night of the primary. All of them stepped down. Family affair grin
