Well, all recent happening and the constant termination of Nigerian accounts proves they don't want Nigerians and Indians anymore.

Huh, like seriously, open an account, don't use your Nigerian number or contact details, hide your details on your profile, not mentioning your name or nationality at the end of your book as the author of your book, all to please Amazon and dont get banned from putting your book on their site, this is Ridiculous and wicked if you ask me , Chai, nawao, then what is the use of using Amazon then if they are already skewed and biased against Nigerians, Indians etc

This was harsh. However, the deed of a few desperate people has rubbed off geniune authors. They ran kdp like yahoo boys and it affected everybody.

I saw this coming and did all i could to leave the country. It is just too obvious that Nigerian IPs are blacklisted on amazon kdp.

The self-publishing career is quite straightforward. Notice that I referred to it as a career. Treat it like a business: create a honest, high-quality product that you can be proud of and that others will be willing to pay for. It should be a product you can display with pride anywhere.

I have never encountered any issues with my Amazon account. I use a pen name as do almost everyone. If you are going to do this, put your head down and do it well. Honestly.

At least we have a lot of success stories here to inspire us.

I don't know how to answer this question, I'd just drop the email so you see for yourself. They terminated my first account and claimed that my book cover/description/title was similar to another book. I can't even buy another device to start again, I don't have a choice but to use the same device. I truly wish I could switch to another platform.

I wish I actually tried to game the system but I didn't... Even the second account I created was created because the first one which I have been using was terminated. I pleaded and even unpublished the book they said was similar to some other book (which they didn't even exactly tell me) but they refused.

I wasn't even spamming books, I had just 12 books and that account has been my only account since 2022. I truly regret being a Nigerian.

They were exposing how to remove the tax thing and other secrets... I'm tired. KDP is my last hope.

Now...Nigerians and indians have taken over YouTube with AI generated videos, they are even selling courses now. I have been on YouTube since I was a kid, I would upload videos, my songs, for fun but if I eventually decide to do YouTube full-time today and they start banning Nigerian; someone would come here to tell me it's because I'm a scammer.

Time to go back to working in a factory for half the minimum wage? I hope not . I really wish I still had enough time. Too many failures in my life. Even God knows I gave my best, none of these failures were the result of laziness—that's something I have never been. I leave everything to God and remain totally emotionally detached.
