ObaaOfYorubaLan:
Ala Igbo Amaka, no single brown roof for that side. Those cursed children from brown roof region no go near this thread.
Brown roof is a sign of early development that south yeasterners don't have. Stop exposing your rotten underbelly to ridicule in a vain attempt at tribal chest-beating.

edet19892015:
Unless you understand your role in society, you can never make any meaningful contribution.

According to the Greeks, they are three types of people on Earth,
1. The idiots,
2. The tribesmen, and
3. The citizens.

Studies show only 10% of Africans are citizens.
The remaining 90% are either tribesmen or idiots.

1. When the Greeks used the word "Idiot", they did not use it as a curse word.
Idiots are people who just don’t care.
If they sit for exams, they will cheat.
If they are in government they will steal.

An idiot does not care at all, if he eats bananas he throws the peels anywhere instead of putting them in a trash bin.

IDIOTS won't attend monthly neighborhood meetings. They won't pay security dues. They won't contribute to community development. Even when they see or know about something that will harm others in the community they won't report it. When they see/know/have something that will benefit their community they won't share.

In fact, Idiots don't care to register for or vote in an election, yet they complain the most. If they register to vote, IDIOTS will sell their votes for peanuts.

According to the Greeks, some societies have more idiots than tribesmen and citizens.

2. The next set of people are "Tribesmen", these are people that look at everything from the point of view of their tribe.

These are people that believe in you only if you are part of their tribe.
It can be terrible to have a tribesman as a leader, he will alienate the rest.

When the Greeks talk about tribes, it’s not just about ethnicity, they also consider religion, gang membership, group membership, party membership and even cult membership as a tribe.

A great percentage of Africans are tribesmen, because they view everything from the point of view of their tribes. They trust only their tribesmen

3. The last group are "Citizens".
These are people who like to do things the right way.
They will respect traffic light rules even if no one is watching them.

They drive within speed limits.
They respect the laws, and won’t cheat in exams.
In government, they won’t steal.
They are compassionate and give to others to promote their well-being.

Citizens often promote projects that benefit everyone.
The Greeks called this group "The Citizens".

Some countries have more citizens than tribesmen and idiots, others have so many idiots.

A tribesman can become a citizen through orientation.
And an idiot can become a citizen by training and constant enforcement of the law.

But things fall apart if you elect an idiot or tribesman to lead you if he has not been reformed.

Where do you belong? Are you an idiot, a tribesman or a citizen? Reflect on your life.
Reflect about your immediate community, city, state and nation.

Where is the traffic light for the Alex Ekwueme Square junction? With the way Nigerians drive, a lot of accidents will happen on that part of the road.

Good start but incoming vehicles should join via a slip road and a 4-lane way shouldn't have such a direct u-turn. It's unsafe

Lastly, without adequate traffic control measures, a u-turn shouldn't be situated opposite a side road. Would easily lead to unnecessary buildup of traffic

Just keep making noise.

In the next 10 to 20 years, the complete takeover of Lagos will be accomplished.

Then your Oba will be someone like Oba Emeka Okorafor.

Don’t forget what happened in Ilorin - the Fulanis took over and all you have been able to do since is bark like toothless dogs that you are.

If any governor has been able to match randy he-goat Akpabio's developmental strides, why did he fold so easily when he was harassed to join Oshiomole's Assembly of Past Crooks, APC where sins are forgiven as long as you stay loyal to the Baba sope Ogas at the top huh

Why could Saraki resist the same pressure and harassment from APC?

There's a difference between the real on-ground politics and the copy-and-paste politics you people do on Nairaland.

When the money finish, we demolish your house and sell the land to Okafor.
We use the money for Ojude Oba.
When the money finish, we call nwosu developer to build plaza and we sell shops to Nwa boy.
Once money finish, we throw fire inside the plaza and demolish. We turn am to market.

You are slaves without sense and we will keep playing you.

Does that difference also extend to using government money to employ civil servants to provide common services, facilities and utilities for all the people in the state? Things like water and sanitation that T-Pain and his successive placeholders have failed to do in lagos for 26 years?

Should that be more/as important as the politics of grabbing power and running with it huh

Lawmaker scores Lagos Water Corporation low

A Lagos State lawmaker, Mr Saka Fafunmi, on Thursday expressed dissatisfaction at the performance of the state Water Corporation.

Fafunmi, a member of the Lagos State House of Assembly (LAHA), said in Ikeja that the corporation had not been able to justify statutory allocations to it.

The lawmaker, who represents Ifako-Ijaiye Constituency 1 at the assembly, spoke to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN).

He said that the corporation had the capacity to generate much fund internally through water rates but had relied solely on government funding because of poor performance.

'' Anyone that is using water will be willing to pay for it; the corporation has not been giving us water.

"Is there any new community that Water Corporation has given water? People depend on boreholes; even government estates have industrial boreholes.

"Why do we keep pumping money into an agency that does not give us the desired results?'' he asked.

He noted that the Adiyan Waterworks was located at Ifako-Ijaiye, where many of the residents had resorted to digging boreholes as a means of getting water.

''A lot of people are falling sick because they don't drink clean water.

''In the same compound, where you have sewage, is where you have a borehole.

''There is no way you can manage the sewage that it will not leak and pollute the water; everyone drinking such is drinking contaminated water,'' he said.

The lawmaker urged the corporation to increase water reticulation and supply to residents.

But it's good and it's high time governor's prioritize railways as it's off the exclusive list,so that transportation will be so cheaper and accidents will greatly reduce,so that it will automatically affect the total bringing down of fuel price
States outside the Niger Delta that gets huge allocations or reasonable IGR cannot afford railways.

From the first picture of the road, why isn't there a roundabout there. This is a poorly planned road and can lead to accidents. It's a nice road but the engineers ought to know that without a roundabout or intersection marks, the road is prone to accidents. There must be 24 hrs presence of road safety or this beautiful road will become a death trap

If south west is poorer than the potopoto, kidnapper-infested, weekly sit-at-home south yeast, why are the people doing japa to the south west?

Gov. Akpabio played with roads in Akwa Ibom..

Till date, no governor in Nigeria has been able to match Akpabio's developmental strides.
He did build roads and even went about increasing the thickness of some existing roads. It's just that he has a repulsive character and many of his people did not like him.

Wealth is both an individual thing and a regional thing. My point remains that describing brown roofs as early development is dumb, senseless and stupid. People live in shacks because they are simply broke. Renovating houses nowadays costs a lot of money. That's why they left it untouched.

Hate and bitterness is your MO. You are a sick man who is on a journey of self destruction and Anambra will help you reach your destination.

We are cooking something for you to weep about for many centuries to come. Anambra is about to shock the world in few years. This your hate speech and bitterness will flow like Nile, endlessly.

Hate and bitterness doesn't develop societies, competence, determination, handwork and clear cut vision does. We go flog una for this Nigeria with our superior administrative skills. Continue your hate mongering.....lmao

What you have in place of the "brown roofs" in SE are literal mud houses.

The most developed city in the entire SE is Onitsha and it's still less developed than any City in SW... like the gap is wide.

The SE is the least developed region in Nigeria-infrastructure-wise yet you clowns are the noisiest.
